I note this as being in a new neighborhood for a while I am always interested in the real local dives. Already done the tourist stuff in this city. Why are the homeless now in their mid twenties? And surprisingly well dressed? I’ll refrain from passing judgement as I really don’t know. But you’ll find them here every morning. This was the first time I ever tried pizza from a 7 – 11. It wasn’t very good because it had been made possibly hours and hours before and the cheese was like glue. When South Loop has real pizza with good cheese across the street at Vino why would you get it here?(Do they have food stamps or something like that here which covers hot food???) The staff was friendly but to be honest kinda trashy looking. Yeah a tattoo here and there is great(especially on a females thigh area) but on your neck? Come on! I gave the other slice of pizza to one of the homeless kids and he started to crank up his story and told him«I don’t need to hear it, eat the fucking pizza» and he said«Thank you and God Bless». He started to eat it and gave me a thumbs up. Told him«Gig«em!» God Bless America

Typical 7 – 11, although I’d always recommend spending those dollars 2 blocks down in the South Loop, at Dearborn and Harrison, where a friendly staff exists.
