Place is great, I live around the corner and find it extremely convienient to be able to run in and pick a few things up when I need them.

Live right around the corner and go here all the time. The employees here are nice and do an honest job trying to keep the place clean. I come here to buy chewing tobacco and about half of the tins I buy here are dried out. One advantage they do have is the do sell liquor and have a solid beer selection. Very convenient store right off the Armitage L stop.

The customer service here is completely non existent! Everyone that works there doesn’t say «hi» or «bye» or «do u want your receipt» they just ring your products and go to the next person and u just walk away in silence. I work in retail across the street and I always make an effort to say hi but the chances of me getting one back is very slim. Plus the men behind the counter will sing in different languages and precede like I’m not even there. I only go to this 7-​eleven if I absolutely need to! There’s nothing stopping me from walking just a little bit extra to the one on halsted!

I went into this 7 Eleven on a Sunday afternoon. An African American man behind the counter informed me I have bad skin. He then pulled out an unmarked spray bottle from behind the counter, informed me it was full of colloidal silver and offered to spray down my face.
A man OFFERED TO SPRAY DOWN MY FACE WITH MYSTERIOUS LIQUID FROM AN UNMARKED BOTTLE BECAUSE HE DIDN’T LIKE MY SKIN.
This was humiliating, creepy and disgusting.

This place is really a solid store. The workers are consistent and treat everyone there with a neighborhood feel. They have all the late night essentials and also will listen for any suggestions you may have for them to add. Many people might think it is weird to write a review, but this 7-​Eleven is the only one I would goto in the middle of the night with not fearing I may be in danger. They make sure to keep loiterers away from their stoop and also keep it really clean.
