I decided to check this place out after reading the reviews. I work in Dayton Ohio and travel to home each day. This place was out of my way but I wanted to shop at a new place. I decided to go in and eat. I was greeted by the staffing a friendly manor. They seemed thrown off that I wanted to eat in. The seating is kinda small and the tv was loud. The Customer service really stood out. If I was to rate just the customer service it would of been 5 stars. The garlic knots were good. The toss salad was good. The pizza was tasty, ingredients were fresh, plentiful and well placed on the pizza. The pizza was good. Now the bad side. If the rating was just on the cleanliness of the bathroom then it would be a negative I would not go out of my way for this place again

We ordered delivery for the first time tonight. No website or online ordering so your only choice is to call, but that’s not a big deal. The pizza was pretty good, although there was A LOT of crust area with no toppings. We also ordered the calzone and garlic knots. The calzone was by far our favorite. Overall, pretty good and we would probably order again.

The pizza has always been good. Have had delivery multiple times and have enjoyed it every time. We’re right on the outskirts of their delivery area, but they still made an exception to deliver to our home. Dining in can be a challenge for such a small restaurant, but most pizza places have always been pretty small and designed for carry out. By all means try the pizza, it’s pretty close to NY style pizza that you can get here in Cincinnati. I would recommend highly.

Save yourself some money and buy a frozen pizza. The crust was plain, average at best. The toppings were good but the sauce was so plain tasting you would think they dumped watered down ketchup on it. I cannot believe I wasted money here and have no idea why or how people are giving it 4 and 5 stars.

We have had nothing but delicious pizzas delivered to our home from Five Burroughs. The service is spectacular and we love the authentic New York style pizza. We had 8 pizzas delivered for a family party and there were just a few slices left for breakfast.

My partner was stuck on this place for a while. He would get 1 – 2 cheese pizzas every week. For a while, they were okay. Nothing to freak out about, but he kept going because it was convenient and there was a special. They are very nice people, too.

This little hole in the wall has the best pizza you will ever eat in your entire life! Let’s be clear, this place has about 6 tables, a counter and a really small kitchen… But boy can they make a good pizza. The owner, is proud of his place and you can find him tossing pizzas in the back. The pizza has a thin crust, that makes it a little crispy. It has a crunch to it and a perfect chewiness amount. It’s not overloaded with sauce… And let me tell you that sauce is amazing! I top mine with pepperoni and their garlic powder, delish! If you are there make sure to also try the garlic knots. They are a piece of garlic heaven and they come with a side of the sauce. Also, they have started a rewards program… Make sure to sign-up because you will be hooked! I drive 35 minutes just to get this pizza!!!

Five Boroughs Pizza gets five stars in my book. By far the best pizza I have had since moving to Ohio. In fact, I went as far as to tell the staff so. It may be that I have been deprived of good pizza for so long, but this place made me really happy. We ate in, and the food was piping hot. I really loved the chewy texture of the crust. The sauce tasted like real tomottoes. There are several specialty pizzas I still want to try. I can’t wait to go back. Several people came in during our visit to pick up carry out orders. Staff was friendly and attentive. They seemed to enjoy working there.

Just gave Five Boroughs a 2nd chance and wow what a difference! I don’t know what happened but they really turned things around since the last time we ordered from them. The pizza was excellent and made perfectly. We also ordered a pepperoni and sausage calzone which was huge and delicious. I would also recommend the garlic knots which were also very good. We’ll definitely be ordering again soon! I wonder if I can get that gift card off of my cousin… lol.

A true local business, that really appreciates it’s customers. I like that the owner is on site and is more than willing to chat while you watch him make your food. Doesn’t get any better than that in my book!

Took my wife, three year old, and ten year old to this Cinci pizzeria. Small seating area, pretty cramped, but oddly enough I felt it added to the experience. There were some neighborhood kids doing some good-natured jawing with the cook in the back, who I assume owned the place. Service was decent. The special was«buy one Stromboli or calzone, get one free». We ordered three calzones and one stromboli. The food was out in around 10 minutes. When the bill came, only one of the«buy one get one» specials was rung up — we were charged for three, one free. When I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she took care of it right away. Maybe they don’t normally allow you to mix and match, but they made it right for us and I appreciated it. Decent food, but not overwhelming. We will probably return a couple of times a year.

On our way to someplace else, we happened upon this place by accident. I’m am on a mission to try every pizza place in the Cincy area that I have not tried in the past, and this place was a surprise. A pleasant surprise. The owner is from NYC and has this little restaurant painted with murals as a homage to his previous home. The pizza we had was good, hot and the crust was super fresh. The pie was cooked to perfection. They offer pizza by the slice as well as whole pies. This place is worth checking out if you’re up for a visit to the west side.

On a recent trip to the foreign land known to most as the West Side(gasp, oh ahhh, throw up the W gang sign) to visit mama, my girlfriend and I killed some time by stopping in for a slice at this pizza joint. The interior is pretty small but it wasn’t busy so we didn’t feel crowded. They had a few specials that day 2 slices w/or w/out toppings and a drink for 4.99÷5.99, etc. The walls are decorated with New York images and even a cool wall painting of the 5 Boroughs. It made me think of the Gangs of New York movie. Side note, when is that guy gonna win an Oscar? Anyways, the pizza we ate was covered in great toppings and the Garlic Knots $ 3 were okay, not nearly as garlic-y as I’d like, but I looooove garlic. In a never-ending quest to try pizza in all Cincinnati/Norther KY restaurants, this place proves that there are actually nice options in the West Siiiide; and visiting mom can be made even better with some cheesy and garlicy items.

Initial review just based on two slices of takeout: wow! Just wow! I may have finally found my go to pizza place. Walking in I was instantly greeted by sights similar to any northeast pizza spot: the booths, the oven, the guy tossing dough in back. The smells were incredible and the pizzas coming out looked divine. Since it was just me tonight I ordered two slices of cheese and some garlic knots. Ok so… the pizza. Thin crust. Crisp yet foldable. Crust superb with occasional bubbles. The sauce was light and tangy. I loved every last bite. The knots too were wonderful with chunks of garlic and served piping hot. So I still have a few others to try out including sorrentos but for now this place is at the top of my list. I anticipate an updated review sometime in the next six months after we share some pies with friends and come to final conclusions. Needless to say, this is an excellent slice of pizza. The best I’ve had to date in the area.

As a recent transplant from NYC, I was in desperate need for a real slice pizza. Dewey’s and La Rosa’s Pizza wasn’t cutting it for me. From a recommendation through another NYer, I decided to make the 30 minute drive to the west side and never regretted it since. If you’re used to NY style pizza(thin crust, usually eaten plain, sometimes with a dash of garlic powder or red pepper flakes) this is the closes you’re going to get within I-275 circle. Prices are extremely reasonable and comparable/cheaper than La Rosas. They also have great specials on Mondays.
