the only thing they have thats good is the chicken… when its fresh, the chicken quite damn good… everything else on the menu is not that good… stay away from the fish, its thee worst, all you taste is grease and batter… but for some chicken and french fries, this is a decent place…

The positive: The store is pretty well kept. They have a decent variety of entrees, and just as many sides to go along with whatever you choose. The people behind the counter are helpful, and I have never had an issue with the service here. The fish/​seafood is decent as well.
The negative: The food here doesn’t always taste as fresh as it could, and the chicken tastes as if they cook it in the same grease as the seafood. So does anything else I have ever gotten from here that comes out of the fryer.

This is a neighborhood joint that does a great job on some fried chicken wings. The flavor of the batter reminds me of a chicken joint from LA called Golden Bird chicken. It was really good. I wasn’t impressed with the sides. The potato salad was just alright and the cole slaw is better at KFC. All and all a good experience.

My fried whiting tasted previously frozen, but I ate it anyway since I left the restaurant. The cook sprinkled on some kind of salt, that I don’t care for, after frying the fish. It made it salty but sweet. It’s hard to explain. Fries were ok. Rice & beans not bad, but will not return for frozen fish. I’ll stick with Potomac House.
