This was our first B&B experience. It was so beautiful there. Our room was very nice. We had a steam shower in our room and there was a pool and outdoor hot tub just a few steps from our room. The food was to die for! The breakfast was several courses and better than I have ever had in any restaurant! Our hosts, Scott and Vickie were so nice and accommodating. They gave us a great recommendation for dinner and things to do in the area. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet and secluded place to stay, this is it!

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago and had a fabulous time! The grounds are beautiful with much wildlife to enjoy. There is a nice pool and hot tub. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast prepared from scratch every morning was out of this world! We also did the private dinner which we would highly recommend. The innkeepers were warm and welcoming. If your looking to unplug and escape the chaos of everyday life then look no further this is your place! PS make sure you check out the little gift shop with homemade salsa and jams etc. best we’ve had in a LONG time :)

A Beautiful Bed & Breakfast in an amazing woodland setting! We stayed the first weekend of 2014 during a snow storm. It was like staying in a winter wonderland!!! I loved watching all the birds at the feeders just outside the windows while we ate the most delicious breakfast made by our hostess, Victoria. Our room was on the lower level with a gas fireplace, a steam shower, and step out access to the hot tub on the patio. I can’t wait to visit again in a different season to see how the view changes. I’m sure to be equally impressed!!! Thank you Scott and Victoria, for your hospitality.

Chesterton, IN is not generally on my list of must-visit places. It’s not in a well-known midwest vacation area like Door County or Harbor Country or Lake Geneva. But for a way to get the hell out of Chicago and feel like you’re much farther away than the hour drive it takes to get there, this place does a wonderful job. We stayed in the Rocky Mountain room, and since there were no other guests we were able to stay for a single night on a Saturday. The room was spacious, the hot tub big enough for two large people, and the bed very comfortable. The B&B is very integrated Scott and Victoria’s home. They do a good job of opening their home while still maintaing some boundaries, but never making you feel unwelcome. The grounds are lovely, and the outdoor hot tub and walking trails would be fun to enjoy in the warmer weather. Breakfast was excellent and we very much enjoyed spending a very long time chatting with Scott and Victoria. For a quick getaway from the city, and a chance to just relax and enjoy some quiet time this place comes highly recommended.

We didn’t actually stay here but we stopped by to check it out and we found the couple that run the place quite friendly. The grounds are extremely pleasant. They have three rooms two of which we saw, both very nice. I actually liked the smaller room the best, «The Grand Canyon Room.» Very airy and inviting atmosphere overall. Definitely will stay next time we’re in the area.
