The service was friendly and great. Lots of options on the menu. I had a mushroom and Swiss omelet, it was good but not great.

We arrived around noon on a Sunday so it was busy. The place is clean and looks like a typical coney diner. They got us seated quickly and service was fast. Not particularly friendly or welcoming, but fast and efficient and certainly not unfriendly. The food was average except for the Saganaki which we didn’t much like. The cheese was an island floating in a river of lemon juice, way too much juice. The rest of the meal was very average. I had the Jillian’s breakfast special, one pc of bacon was burnt, the other piece was cooked okay but it was cheap bacon. The ham and sausage just ok, nothing special. Toast was cheap bread. The hash browns were a bit soggy under a small crusted top. My husband got an omelette. He said the gravy was good but the omelette was really small compared to the other places we go regularly. His bacon was cooked fine, but again, cheap bacon. Probably would not go again as there are other places in that area which have better food and better prices.

A good place to eat, standard not outstanding. My sister, nephew and I stopped in for lunch on Thursday. I had a coney dog and a half of a Greek salad. The hoy dog is the Koegel brand, good choice. I have read the coney sauce is made by National, which for my taste is thin. The Greek salad, which I asked to have served first, was brought after my hot dog. The beets on the salad are diced so small the fork tins can hardly pick them up. The dressing tasted like bottle dressing. All in all an average place. There are other restaurants for me to try, can not say whether I will be back. Lastly, the waitress had an attitude and seemed to be troubled that she had to wait tables. My questions about the gyro meat and stir fry sauce were never answered.

Finding new restaurants is always exciting and fun. We found a new restaurant that we enjoyed. The restaurant was clean and well run. The bus boy was a machine. Today they had $ 0.99 coneys. The wife got a chicken gyro and it came with orange slices, that was nice to see. The food in general was pretty darn good. Prices were decent. Update April 9, 2016 I have always wanted to sit at the counter, it was awesome to watch a Team of employees work so well together. The place is clean.

Great service and food! Left Strawberry Fields and came here instead. Much better here! Serviced right away even though busy.

I’m a big fan of this place. The new owners really did a great job at remodeling the restaurant. The place is always clean which sais alot to me for a Coney island. Food is great and reasonably priced

We were there on Saturday morning, very busy. 12 people ahead of us. We were seated in five minutes. We were taken care of very well. Food came very quickly. Reasonable prices.

Always great food and excellent service. I brought my twin boys there for breakfast which was the best. For less than $ 8 had eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham and toast with drink. I had the egg with spinach and feta omelette which was very fresh and tasted great. Our server was very friendly and very quick to deliver our food and ensure our quality of the food. Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great coney dogs always…

Unusually great for a coney place. Nicely decorated, friendly servers, nice menu, great food, super clean place. It does get crowded for weekend breakfast.

Jillian’s is hands down the best Coney Island restaurant in chesterfield!!! The service is phenomenally fast, the food is beautiful, and the atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I would definitely recommend Jillian’s to anyone who wants great food at modest prices in a quick manner. Go team Jillian’s!

I’m a huge fan of this place. The food is always fresh. My daughter is in love with their house made Ranch dressing. We go often for excellent saganaki, but I’m also a huge fan of their Greek Chicken wrap. In fact, for my birthday I ordered takeout from there. The restaurant is always incredibly clean, staff is fantastic and prices are great.

Cleanest Coney Island in town. The bathrooms even have Scope mouthwash! That said, the food is just OK and inconsistently prepared. It’s the usual hot dogs everyone else serves, flat Coke, fair fish and chips, marginal breakfast and marginal omelettes. The burgers are lame and the fries too skinny with more crispy oil than potato. The chopped salad could be great but they make it different everytime I order it. Flip a coin on the food. Don’t get too excited. RESPONSETOOWNERCOMMENT: 01÷23÷16 Thank you, I appreciate your offer. That was very kind of you but, really, I’m not looking for a free meal. I’m not that kind of customer. If I worked for a media outlet my reviews would be heavily edited or flat-out censored. I try to present the truth based on the actual dining experience. Writing these independent reviews can be very liberating and, I hope, helpful to diners looking for a place to eat. Economically, it seems you have a good business going… the place is jam-packed on Friday evenings… but food quality is paramount to bringing me into any restaurant. That said, I try to keep my expectation in check. I don’t expect gourmet from a Coney Island. I believe my inner gauge is sound. My biggest concern with Jillian’s is the inconsistency of the food preparation(and tighten up those hamburgers, omelettes and get better quality french fries). Get on those cooks! Otherwise, I like your establishment and you should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Cheers!

I’m giving two stars, only because the young woman answering the phone was polite and patient. Ordered carry out and had 4 people ordering… Only 1 person actually ate their food. Now I can’t speak for everyone, but my personal experience wAs as follows: I ordered a chicken pita with grilled chicken. The chicken was so rubbery I could barely bite into it. It was supposed to come with a «fresh fruit cup» according to the menu, and it came with a slice of orange, which sat next to a pickle. I wouldn’t have cared, but pickle and orange don’t exactly taste good together… From what I heard by co workers, I was not the only one disappointed in our meal… Not going to jump at the chance to eat here again. That’s for sure.

Great service, hot food and VERY clean! Definitely a great place to grab a bite. FARBETTER than National Coney Island. It is not even close.

Had their breakfast burrito. It was simply amazing. It was so busy. Very prompt on refills for our table. Served up fast for such a busy time.

Amazing little Coney Island. It is a very clean and nice atmosphere. I have been there several times and each time was delicious. The Jillian’s chopped Greek salad is amazing and a half salad is more then enough for a meal. They usually have .99 coney specials as well!

I was in the area around 6pm and though I might give them a try for supper. Well lit from the outside, the picture windows offered an inviting view of the inside. Upon entering, they have a nice bench seat for waiting customers to rest their weary feet. And so I did, while I waited for a table to become available. They were pretty busy, but after a few minute’s wait, I was seated. I found the restaurant to be neat and clean, the employees friendly and helpful. A glass of ice water was placed in front of me almost as quickly as I was seated. My waitress handed a menu and offered to come back after a few minutes. After checking in on Unilocal,I showed the screen to my server, but she had never seen that before(also didn’t know about Unilocal). I ordered the Unilocal check-in deal of a Coney dog for 99¢, but when my server told me about the 2 Coney Combo, with fries & a drink for $ 5.99, I opted to bypass the Unilocal deal. My drink arrived shortly, and the Coneys(with everything) were delivered in record time. The coneys were very good, with the chili mix, mustard and onions on top. I was not a fan of the fries, for some reason or another, but I ate them, maintaining my membership in the Clean Plate Club®. After eating everything on my plate, I was full, therefore, no dessert was ordered. They have a breakfast special daily from 7−11am, 2 eggs, meat, toast and coffee for $ 3.99. A very nice Mom-n-Pop restaurant, serving my local community. One minor detractor — the menus are becoming de-laminated, so you have to work a bit at finding each page of the menu. A little scissors trim might help.

Today I had the pleasure of coming to Jillian’s for breakfast for the first time and let me first say I can’t wait to come back! The place was really bumping around 10am. Very few empty tables in sight! Staff was extremely friendly and very fast service. I can’t say that enough! You will not be able to go anywhere else on a Saturday morning that will get you in and out faster than Jillians(I can promise you that!) The prices are definitely very reasonable for breakfast. I ordered the Southwestern Burrito($ 4.99) and it was phenomenal. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, green chillies wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. It was humungeous. I usually finish my whole meal and I took half home with me. Very tasty and the sausage was similar texture and flavoring to taco meat. Very yummy! My boyfriend ordered french toast. What I loved about the french toast was it wasn’t caked in powder sugar. I thought my nobody could top my Mom’s french toast but Jillians did just that!(sorry mom!) Can’t wait to come back for breakfast again!

*NOTE* People talking about how Jillian’s makes the BEST coneys ever… they’re Koegel dogs with National Coney Island chili. They taste great, but it’s not like it’s an old family recipe or something… you guys are giving an awful lot of credit for them. Compared to the Coney USA that used to be here… well, there’s no comparison. The entire building has gotten a MUCH needed makeover. The Coney USA was a filthy mess(there’s no wonder why it closed), but this place looks very nice and clean. As for the food, Jillian’s has your typical Coney Island sort of menu, but it’s done well. Some people open a business and think it’s acceptable to use nothing but pre-made, frozen food. I haven’t had the whole menu(DUH! What the hell do I look like!?), but my food(buffalo chicken wrap) was fresh. I thought I’d share that I got take out, so I can’t speak for the service. The only problem I had with my buffalo chicken wrap was that the chicken was slightly dry. It wasn’t awful by any means, but it was definitely a touch overcooked. I really enjoy that they use crumbled bleu cheese instead of bleu cheese dressing on it. I opted for(obviously pre-frozen) onion rings on the side instead of fries, and they’re good and all, but I’ve had better. There’s nothing about the batter that stuns me. On the plus side, you get a small side of fresh fruit with your meal… a nice touch. Jillian’s has good eats at a very fair price, and they’re considerably better than some other places that have opened up in the area in recent years(*COUGH* Camille’s by the Bay). ***The conies at Jillian’s use Koegel dogs with National Coney Island chili.*** While some people would say, «Well what gives! They don’t make their own chili!?» I don’t mind. Mostly because there’s not a National Coney Island all that close to me, though one’s opening soon. The fries here tend to be pretty soggy, but they have a good flavor to them.
