Not impressed at all. Chicken Marsalis was beef gravy poured over chicken pieces. Salty. Beer was warm

Absolutely horrible meals me and my boyfriend had went to dinner there. We got the two meals for $ 20 and a bottle of barefoot wine. To begin with the Alfredo I ordered was very bland, I also had added shrimp to my Alfredo for $ 4.50; most absolute waste of money all you get is 3 pieces of shrimp. And the wine $ 18!!! I can get the same bottle at the store for $ 6, it was ridiculous on how much they charged. The waitress didn’t even understand English that well, so it made it very difficult to order. Needless to say I will never return.

Amazing authentic Italian food made by a family owned establishment. The service was very warm and efficient. My husband had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Chicken Mama Asunta. Both were made by someone who knew what they were doing! And the Tiramisu at the end was definitely homemade as well! It was our first of many more visits to come!

Amazing, outstanding, sensational!!! Pure goodness. Italian food doesn’t get any fresher. Home cooked, fresh the way Italian is suppose to taste, it is obvious that this food is made with love and attention to detail. It doesn’t taste like restaurant food at all, it is like sitting down in a little Italian village, eating food grandma would make with a fantastic modern flare, it has to be the best Italian food around period! All the franchise Italian restaurant’s in the area couldn’t combine together with their best dishes and touch this food. It is that good! If you are looking for a true taste of Italy, you have to eat here. Sunday thru Thursday they have 2 meals for $ 20. The variety of dishes on that menu are amazing, it isn’t just a couple of dishes, there are so many to choose from, all of which come with soup or salad which is fresh as it gets. The house dressing on the salad is amazing, the soups are worth the trip themselves. Chicken marsala is just wonderful, the gravy and mushrooms are not only the topping to the marvelous chicken, they are the stars of the dish as well. Eggplant Parmesan is delicious, sliced perfectly, not too thick like most places do, it is perfectly cooked with a generous amount of Parmesan and Mozzarella melted on top, with the perfect amount of pasta to accompany the dish. I could go on and on about this place, it is that good. They even have a carryout to feed 50 people for 299.00, now tell me where you can get fantastic Italian food to go for a gathering that cheap? No where. You can’t even make it yourself for that amount… and there is no way you could make it taste that good either. This is the finest Italian Restaurant anywhere around. If you haven’t been here, you need to take the time to stop in and enjoy the delicious food they have to offer, you will not be sorry and believe me, you will find your new favorite place to eat.

I decided to give this restaurant a second try. I’ve lived in the area for almost 12 years and was last here several years ago. I was pleasantly surprised and the food pretty good as Italian goes. I am a foodie and this is not Marios downtown or or the very authentic Villa in Eastpointe, but it is very good Italian food, and the restaurant is charming inside!

Been here for dinner on multiple occasions, on nights where we were the only guests, and nights when seating was scarce… but the quality is always there. For diners on a budget, there’s the Two for 20, Sunday to Thursday: a selection of entrees, salad or soup, and bread basket that feeds two for just 20 bucks. These aren’t small servings, either: I had chicken Venetian and veggies and barely finished. If you can find a better deal, take it… but you won’t. Their marinara sauce is rich and savory, the salad has large tomato wedges, the bread… wow, it’s good! Get here soon, before everyone else finds out and takes your table!

Service is good, food is ok, very over priced. I wanted to like this place but I was very disappointed. This place dies not live up to the hype.

Relaxing atmosphere. Unassuming location in a strip-mall is deceiving. Excellent service on a crowded evening. Food a fair step above your standard Italian«chain» fare. Nice selection of choices on the dinner menu. Unlike others, I found the pricing quite fair.

Ordered take-out. The most disgusting poorly cooked Italian food I’ve ever encountered. The bread came in an actual ziplock bag, the side salads were of the variety I would assume they serve in prison, the salt overwhelming in both of our pasta dishes, the noodles were mushy and outrageously over cooked. Thoroughly disappointed. I should of taken my $ 40 and bought a jar of Ragu and some elbow noodles.

I had the chicken masala. Not too bad. Italian wedding soup was delicious. Service was great. I work recommend this place to a friend :)

Italian-American old school time warp. Sinatra plays while we sip Chianti and eat cheese and meat and cheese and cheese… Strangely pricey for such a divey joint. Your Grandma’s idea of «ethnic food». Hate to leave such a bad review when the owner and waitstaff were so damned pleasant, but«foodies» need to be warned

Went in for 2/$ 20 deal, food was good. Decided to take canollis home, way over priced. $ 4.50 each, we go to Astoria’s in Greek town, half the price and bigger.

Love their eggplant parmesan, haven’t found it better elsewhere, Salad is ok but nothing special with good dressing(usually get the honey mustard or raspberry vinaigrette), rolls are tasty with the oil on the table or butter. Desserts and soup are ok, but we don’t usually get. The side of pasta is always good, not overcooked and the sauce is very tasty. The staff are very nice and attentive. When looking for good Italian, we always go there.

Third time for an eh meal. Chicken Parm was rubbery and bland. Cheap rolls slathered w/nice flavor but if I wasn’t starving after a long work day I’d avoid them. Meals come with a horrible iceberg lettuce salad wasn’t told that it would be $ 3 more for a plate of romaine and called Ceaser… All 3 of our pasta sides were soggy again. Definitely not Al Dente-the meat sauce was quite tasty though. Cheap quality but pricey desserts that tasted refridgery. Weird live folk music that doesn’t fit w/family Italian restaurant. The guy was good but so out of place in such a small venue and we felt uncomfortable eating dinner and visiting with out paying attention to the singer. It’s in a sketchy strip mall but tries too hard and is too expensive for the value. Felt like I should have been on an episode of a tv show. The wait staff were very nice, I’ve had a decent meal there but the last 3 times it’s been

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Got the calamari & shrimp Casalinga appetizers & both were horrible… you can tell they were frozen(breading all soggy) …soup was nasty, salad rotten lettuce, don’t know why we even stayed for the entrée. had to send them all back!!!(Kids pizza, chicken siciliano, eggplant parm) will NEVEREVER step foot in this place again! Makes me sick just thinking about the food!!! The other reviews are obviously from the owners. NASTY¡!!!

We love this place… some may see it as a hole in the wall on a strip mall… but its much more. They have a male singer on weekends which adds to the romantic atmosphere. The place is decorated like a quaint little italian café. The food… well, I gave it 5 stars so that should say enough.

Food and service is excellent! I’ve had the Veal dishes but we tend to always the Spaghetti Con Aglio E Olio and its fantastic. No complaints here, its a cozy atmosphere and all the waitress’s are super friendly. Keeps us going back time and time again.

Portions are big and thats about the only positive thing to say about this place. Been here five times or so and every time i am disappointed. Food is flavorless. This was my last time coming here for bad food for roughly 14 $ a person.
