Ahh, Dominos pizza is almost a staple in every town in the area. The Ladue location sure does keep the reputation of Dominos in good shape. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Tucked in an old shopping complex in the middle of several neighborhoods this Dominos isn’t too far away from anywhere in Chesterfield.

My oldest was ordering from Domino’s, yet again, last night. He offered to get me a salad. Well, that’s in my wheelhouse. He ordered a chicken Caesar salad, no croutons. Holy cow, was this salad huge. Tasted great and fresh. The dressing was very Caesar. It was a package of Marzetti’s creamy Caesar, so I could use as little or as much as I wanted. The croutons came in a prepackaged bag, so I just didn’t use them. I was quite surprised at the amount of chicken in this salad. It was pretty pervasive. And incredibly good, well-seasoned. I couldn’t finish it all. Who knew?

I’m going to go against the trend here. I love pizza. I could eat pizza every day of my life and not tire of it. My great-grandfather was Italian, so that should count for something, but it probably doesn’t. Anyway, I think Domino’s is pretty delicious. Since they changed to that new pizza crust a few years ago, I think it’s really good. The amount of seasoning they use seems to fluctuate, though. I’ve also tried their new pan pizza and it’s — really good! I don’t know if people don’t like to admit that they like a delivery chain pizza because it doesn’t make them feel unique or what. A medium pizza for $ 5.99-$ 7.99 shouldn’t be that good. That’s the price for a decent frozen pizza at the store. I’m a pretty straightforward person with my pizza as well. I like extra cheese and pepperoni. Italian sausage added on if I feel adventurous. I’m not the guy getting a fruit salad or 15 toppings on my pizza. In my opinion, I think it’s great. I’m not saying other places are bad, either. I’m just saying Domino’s is, hands down, the best delivery you can get and it’s inexpensive when you use the offers and coupons they always have. I can think of 2, maybe 3 places that have better pizza than Domino’s and it’s all at least double the price. One complaint that I have is that they no longer give you marinara sauce or any dipping sauce since they switched to the stuffed cheese bread. You have to pay like 50 cents for one or something. Come on guys, I don’t have to pay extra for dipping sauces at any fast food place or restaurant.

Prior to the new pizza recipe, I was never a fan. I had eaten Domino’s pizza, but I never purchased one. I just recently tried the new pizza and it may be my new favorite chain pizza. I have to say that you should probably give it a try. This particular store is in a weird place. It’s right in the middle of a couple of neighborhoods and is actually quite inconspicuous. I even passed it up since I had never been there before.
