I just love this place! Lots of fun exotic foods to try. Some fresh produce, great frozen section. I love the garlic naan and the frozen lentil dish. I asked the gentleman working there for a samosa suggestion but haven’t had a chance to give them a try yet. They have a selection of baked things that I assume are fresh made but I haven’t had the courage to navigate those yet. The staff has always been friendly to me. They had masala tea in a hot dispenser that he gave us on the way up in little cups. Yummy! I will be back soon!

Friends told us about Bombay Bazar in the strip along Clarkson so when we needed a fresh bag of basmati rice, this was the place I went. I found a very neat and well stocked grocery. This is so close to home it will certainly be our place for Indian cooking ingredients. They have a very complete array of the things you would expect. It is not a large place, but I was amazed at their selection. For example, you expect the extensive range of pre-mixed masalas for every conceivable dish, but Bombay Bazar has this array in at least four major brands. It is almost overwhelming. The breadth of selection is true for most areas, from rice to flour to any of the dry pulses you could want. They also have a good refrigerated section as well as some fresh produce. Since having some very good Channa Masala in Chicago last weekend, I have been craving Indian cooking. This visit aggravated that condition. Bombay Bazar is a welcome addition to the community. I wish them well so that we have this source close at hand.
