Hungry Howie’s Pizza

Meh. Eh. My family often only goes to this pizza place because it’s a quarter of a mile from home. We wouldn’t go out of our way to come here.
My boyfriend and I inquired about the 3 Cheese Pepperoni Pleaser we ordered in the past, we couldn’t find it on the menu. The cashier did say they had it. We inquired about the price and she said $ 13.99. Eh alright. Also ordered Asiago bread and a 2 Liter.
While waiting we noticed they had a stack of coupons and one was for 3 Cheese Pepperoni pleaser pizza for $ 11.99. That price would have been better.
While waiting the two ladies working kept bickering about orders they messed up. Not something I wanted to hear. Delivery time for early afternoon on a Sunday was an hour and a half.
The pizza was okay. Usually has shredded Parmesan on top and this one did not. Bread was good, I actually liked it more than the regular howie bread.
Not a very pleasant experience. Pizza was on the well side.

Tried to place an order for delivery using a coupon. The guy on the phone said that no such coupon I was using existed for the price I told him. I said I’m looking right at the coupon but he totally ignored me and when he gave me a total, he was charging me more than the coupon. Told him I would pick up and show him coupon. Got the pizza home, it was bland. Will stick with Jet’s pizza and never return to Hungry Howie’s.

I am very disappointed with the last two. times within a week my husband and I have eaten here. Last week, we came down with food poisoning symptoms. I thought the crust tasted almost like mold. This week, we decided to give this place one more chance, although they jipped us out of a topping on our pizza and didn’t even offer to. take the 1.79 off our order for good faith. Again, we got sick again! I advise this place get their act together or get a health inspector in there. We have the same exact symptoms as last week and I recommend nobody eat here.
