Came here the other night to purchase Beats wireless earbuds for my Mom’s birthday present. Was easily able to locate them and since Amazon had them for $ 60 cheaper I was able to price match, as well as use a $ 5 coupon I had. Checkout was simple and painless. No issues price matching at all. Cashier just looked at my phone and boom! Inputted price into computer and it was a breeze. I literally had 8 people try and help my family and I. At first it was fine. But then I was bothered because I was in the store less then five minutes and it was them being too aggressive. Perhaps it was a really slow night? Movie and CD section is really small and boring. It’s slim pickings. They used to have aisles and aisles but not anymore. I no longer purchase CD’s here anymore because they never have anything I’m looking for– even new releases.

This is a clean, well-stocked Best Buy, a playground for all ages! The staff is polite and helpful, but the recommendation I got for purchasing a printer for my business did not work out well. It was later replaced by a better, newer model after a lot of aggravation with the old one. Replacement was an easy process. I do buy the warranty for items like this. I would recommend knowing exactly what you want before getting to the store — rely on your own research. Other than that everyone has been great and I’ve had mostly great experiences here. I love love love the location! Please always keep this store! They also have a lot of great musical instruments, etc. now.

I needed a couple speakers for my car stereo, so after looking online for the particular brand and size, I found them at Best Buy for a decent price. I printed the page and off I went. After arriving at the store, I walked in and was greeted at the door by an employee(or was it an associate?) who directed me to the back of the store where they keep such things. I was able to easily locate my choice and proceeded to the check-out. Ahah! It was there that I discovered my printed page was not only a reminder of which item I wanted, but it saved me from paying a higher price at the register. $ 8 higher. Yes, the in-store price was 20% higher than online. Somehow, this situation did not help them live up to the name on the front of the store. The check-out employee checked the online price right there at the register and rang up my order accordingly. I asked — they do not give a military discount.

Went to purchase a new laptop. Salesman asked if I needed help. I asked to see if they had 2 different laptops in stock, he said«If you’re asking which one is the better laptop, the higher priced one is better»…Strike One. I said no I’m asking if you have both in stock. He takes the display tag and says he will go look. So I wait for 15 minutes and I happen to turn around to see him at the register serving another customer… Strike Two. So I grab one to purchase and go home. I get it home, don’t like it, I take it back, everything intact. The customer service guy is looking at the power plug and saying«I thought you were trying to get one in on me, that didn’t look like the original plug… Strike Three. BB need to train customer service and listening. You have definitely lost a customer. This is not the 1st time I’ve experienced this type of treatment from this particular BB.

I might just be a fan of Best Buy again. They’ve apparently realized that they need to do something really stellar in order to compete, with Newegg, Amazon, and all of the other online retailers or they’ll be going the way of Circuit City. This location in Chesterfield was really stellar. I walked in looking for information on a camera and wanting to see a few different options. The salesperson who greeted me(wish I had thought to check his nametag) was super polite, helpful, and best of all, well-informed about cameras. He recommended a model that was exactly what I wanted, pulled out his phone to show me samples of the pictures it took, and generally talked(photo) shop with me for a few minutes without any pressure at all. Oh, and we did a price match with Amazon that saved us about $ 50 with no hassle or fuss. Just bring a printout, show it on your smartphone, or ask them to check for you.

It’s a Best Buy. But this location… the staff here was incredible. My wife was looking for a camera. She had just got a Cannon SX280 for Christmas only to find out that it had a major issue with shutting off during video recording and a slow auto focus. We talked to someone on the floor that showed her a Sony camera that had all of the options she wanted. And then he went the extra step of explaining how he took it to the UK and showed pictures in various lighting(outdoor and indoor… most point and shoots struggle with indoor) and how he used the wifi to sent pictures to his family. In the end his sales pitch convinced the wife to spend about $ 50 more than she originally planned and get a camera she really liked. And don’t forget that Best Buy price matches Amazon now. She had her camera in time for her family Christmas party without having the spend extra. I was looking for a new monitor. Mr Camera answered some of my questions but found someone else to help with my specifics. The main issue? I was trying to decide between a 144 hz/1ms BenQ TN monitor and a 60hz/under 8ms IPS monitor. The guy straight up told me that the IPS will look better. And since I’m not exclusively gaming(especially since I’m not much of an FPS person) that the increased speed isn’t worth it. I ended up with the IPS and am loving it. For the longest time Best Buy was known for high prices and rude or useless staff. That seems to have changed now. At least at this location.

Great location and staff. Courtney in phone sales was extremely helpful, and went out of we way to answer my questions. I will certainly start going much more frequently now that I know they have new Blu-Ray releases every Tuesday. When I am ready for my next big purchase(flat screen, stove, etc.) I will be coming to this location, and suggest you do the same.

Super helpful staff — but not too helpful where it gets annoying. I do wish they would lower their prices on cables as a lot of people look at BB and then buy for 1⁄3 the price on-line.
