Terrible experience today, purchased generator online last one in store. Hubby went to pick up none left but hubby saw one sitting behind customer servive. They said they were holding for someone, who had not yet purchased! that was one showing up as one left at store. Not right we had paid, he had driven all the way there! Using home Depot from on.

I needed a new step-on ON-OFF switch for a floor lamp. Home Depot took a quick look and found none, so they directed me to Lowe’s. The electrical pro at Lowe’s had none either, but before he gave up he scoured the store looking for something that would work, phoned one of their lamp suppliers to see if he could get a switch from them, and then searched online for an internet site where I could order one. He spent at least 20 minutes trying to assist me, all for a $ 6 switch they didn’t have. I left the store without a new switch, but with a good lead and an appreciation of a guy(and a store) that went far beyond the customer service call of duty. Wow, what a comparison to the quickie«Sorry» at HD. Lowe’s offers real service!

I like Lowes because most of there stores are set up the same way, you walk in one then walk in another they are the same. This makes find things much easier it don’t get much better than that. And I have found the people are more knowledgeable about what they sell, which makes a much better shopping experience.

Ok we went on a shopping spree and they were ALL helpful throughout our shopping experience. It was consistent no matter who we speak to the level of service and the willingness of each employee to assist us in whatever we were looking for. We started shopping for appliances and were able to find a good washer & dryer with the help of the old man(sorry, for got his name… maybe Lindsy??). We then went to look for a fireplace gate, then to lawn mower, and then a grill. In between, we managed to fill up the gigantic cart with all other miscellaneous items we didn’t really think of till we saw them… with 10% newcomer discount(via USPS) and $ 2200 later, we left a happy camper! We were helped by at least 6 employees by this time. We even got help loading up the truck by another helpful associate. Today, we got the delivery that we scheduled and the two employees that showed up were very polite, courteous, and friendly I was very happy we shopped at Lowe’s for all of our big purchases. They were kind enough to help me in hooking up the tank to the new grill and do a little favor taking my old shower head that I couldn’t do myself. Yup, I’m a believer! Additional Note: I went back to make a return of a few things and even that was a very pleasant experience. Of course, I made additional purchase that day and was treated well by the cashier in the garden department.
