Super course, excellent condition. 9 hole course with a 18 round par of 72. Most holes are lined with trees adding to the difficulty. Greens are very unpredictable and challenging. A must play in the Lake Almanor area.

Most of the time I’m not a huge fan of nine hole courses, they’re usually kind of flat and cramped, but this one is an exception. It’s well laid out and meanders through some pretty serious trees. I always make it a point to grab a quick nine whenever I’m in the area.

I’m a hack who was just dragged along with a promise of a cart and good cocktails and later lunch at Lake Almanor West Grill. The 9 hole golf course is open to the public and the restaurant. Rates are very reasonably. Course is gorgeous. Saw a few doe nearby. Golf shop. Looking forward to returning. Enjoying the time here.
