Lake Almanor Propane

We could be one of the rich vacation homes Cheyne spoke of, but I assure you, Cheyne, and others, there is no special deal or good service happening here either. I’ve tried for over a year to have a regular scheduled «every 3 weeks» delivery so our propane tank won’t end up completely empty from non– delivery. Twice in the past year deliveries were skipped, repeatedly, so the tank went dry. No heat to our un-​winterized home could have resulted in broken pipes and other enormous risks. In July I flagged down the delivery truck as he was driving down our road to have him fill the tank as we had not had a delivery since April. I’ve spoken repeatedly to the manager and there has been no resolution to this poor service. We would have switched propane companies except that we have a rented, buried tank and would have to dig up our lawn to have the tank removed.
I would highly suggest that you choose another propane provider whose service can be trusted and is reliable.
UPDATE:We purchased the underground propane tank from Lake Almanor Propane and now have the ability to choose propane delivery from any local company.

This company will screw you over. Don’t use them. There twice the price of other companies. They take advantage of the locals and give the rich vacation homes a good deal. Steal from the poor give to the rich

They almost doubled the price of our propane while we were gone for the winter with no notice. A little gouging going on? Goodbye Almanor propane and Amerigas!
