Some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had! My favorite is Ed’s Bark and their chocolate covered pretzels! Also a great variety of truffles and other delicious treats. I go there all the time when I have a sweet tooth or for gifts. recently used them to give as favors for an event and was very happy with what they put together. Great place!

February 12th2015. They are OPEN! The top review posted show them as being closed but they are not. Around Christmas time I was looking for a chocolate store and made the mistake of reading the first review but did not read the date which was from 2012. They have a great selection of chocolates, Valentine’s Day is only two days away :-)

I bought a truffle on a stick. It was not only dried out and growing mold inside. I had also purchased a sealed set of truffles made with assorted wine flavors. Had one to see if they also went bad but it was fine. The ‘fresh’ truffles in the case are probably ok but don’t get anything just wrapped in plastic. I almost gave this as a gift but wouldn’t do so now.

For the rehearsal dinner party favors of our son’s wedding, we chose white chocolate mini, beautifully decorated wedding cakes. And to add to the Welcome Bags for traveling guests, we chose the chocolate lollipops, depicting a happy couple. Not only were these two favors beautifully wrapped, labeled, and delivered, they were delicious… many of our«foodie» guests called this chocolate«the Best». What a pleasure to work with Mike ! I would recommend Emmanuel Chocolates to the Queen, regretting only that we don’t have any leftovers!

They are open again in the same Chester location! They were featured in an article on Artisian chocolatiers in the Asbury Park Press, Courier News and the Record. Their truffles are to die for and the place has been completely redone.

So sad that they have now closed their doors on Dec 24th of this past year. This was one of NJ’s best kept secretes. I LOVED their Classic Crunch, and Wine Truffles. The few times I visited their shop were absolutely lovely, the manager who was always there behind the counter was so nice, and very pleasant. They moved around a couple of times but were definitely worth finding! I miss you guys, and hope that one day soon you will reopen your doors, I need my Crunch fix! ;)

I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s always been a good experience. My girlfriend lives out in Central NJ near Chester, so she was the one who recommended it to me. When I’ve stopped by during whatever holiday they’ve always had easy and fun gifts for me to bring back to New York or my family up in New England. It’s almost always the same lady working there all the time and she’s really friendly and corteous. She always has good recommendations for whatever they’ve been making. And yes, they make all the truffles, peanut butter cups, crunch and chocolate covered miscellany in themselves. If there’s anything that was shipped in to them they don’t make it a secret, just ask. The wine truffles are the best and my family is always asking me to bring more back from my trips out there. The white chocolate popcorn is also amazing. They can seem to make chocolate into any shape. My girl has had these different shapes like a little bride and groom made. Very fun. Mostly I like that for a high end chocolate shop they are not uppity nor pretentious and they’re prices are a million times more reasonable them similar places I’ve been. Highly recommended.
