If you haven’t been to Black Meadow Flora yet, you should make a trip. They have an amazing selection. The orchids flower for months and can live 10 – 20 years! The staff at Black Meadow can advise you how to take care of them. Highly recommended!

I’m so happy that this place is here. I bought some orchids from here this summer and this is the first time that my flowers didn’t die right away. It’s essentially a few really big greenhouses with a lot of orchids. Everything from the very popular polynopsys and a bunch of more exotic varieties as well. Decent prices and only minutes from Woodbury commons. Definitely worth the trip if you’re already in Hudson Valley. The owners are super cool and they even have arrangements for parties, weddings, etc. Definately going back since they’re starting to grow vegetables on the farm and other plant varieties.
