Great food and even better service. They clearly train their staff on customer service because it’s a rarity nowadays at most restaurants. Everything we order is tasty such as the garlic rolls, pizza, calzones, wings, and the desserts are amazing. The dessert options are impressive. Big drink selection too. Took the family back again and yet another great experience. Each visit the server was different yet provided the same good service. Wife and kids happy, so I’m happy. 8-) UPDATE: Just had a delivery and everything arrived hot, perfectly cooked, quickly, and exactly what we ordered. The young man who delivered the pizza and boneless wings was very polite and friendly, so it seems the delivery staff are as well trained as the staff inside the store. Very pleased, yet again!!!

Reading other people’s comments. I have always had good service and food from this location. in December 2015 when my daughter had surgery I ordered a meal from them & told them that she just had surgery and it was her birthday. They packed up the best tasting meal and a birthday surprise for her. Tonight ordered dinner take-out. They have the best bone-in wings in town. The buffalo chicken Pizza is excellent & chicken parm meal is very good. Everything we have had at this location is good. Only 2 recommendations for your online order site, you need to add Mamma Mia Gelato and Tuxedo Bomb to your deserts so I don’t have to call you to add it!

The food was great. I ordered a salad with custom toppings. However, the salad totaled 20.00 by itself. I have never eaten a salad that cost that much. Drinks weren’t refilled at all. Not impressed. Won’t be back.

The food here is just okay. The wait staff is really slow to getting around to people and at times you can literally smell the bathrooms. It’s very unappealing to smell that while you’re trying to enjoy your pizza. Sitting outside is a by better however last time I was there, there were ants all over the chairs and table which then ended up getting in my food.

Downhill. Came on strong, but the past three orders have been delivered completely wrong. The third time is it, I’m done with Ynot. 1st messed up order: 2 items totaling over $ 23 forgotten from delivery. No compensation. 2nd messed up order: 1 hour 45 minutes for delivery. They were busy. No advance notice. 1 item forgotten for delivery. Told that we’d be compensated. Never compensated. 3rd messed up order: Tonight, $ 10 salad forgotten. No compensation. The manager was contacted all three times. If I go here again, I’m the not-smart one.

Pack your patience! Would have been a 1 Star review based on service alone, had it not been for the beer selection and the fact that despite the poor service the food is still pretty good. Second visit to Ynot Cedar Rd in Chesapeake. Lets just say their service is not what I have become accustomed to at other Ynot locations. Primary concerns would be wait time and staff inattentiveness. And this time we sat at the bar. One other person there so no they were not too busy. Wont be back to this Ynot location.

I ordered a salad with 4 free toppings and raspberry vinaigrette. I paid extra for hard boiled eggs. It was a very cheap salad mix, lots of green but few small pieces of cherry, corn, broccoli and green peas. I maybe got 2 – 3 pieces of hard boiled eggs. Not coming back.

Quick Review! Intro: I grew up in the Great Neck area of VA Beach, so I’ve been patronizing Ynot since the beginning. Nowadays it’s become pretty ubiquitous as a local Italian restaurant chain, with locations seemingly everywhere in Hampton Roads(or at least the southside). This review will include observations on Ynot in general, and things specific to the Cedar Road location. The Good: In general the food at Ynot is very good. Can you get better Italian food in the area? Sure. But Ynot’s Italian food is pretty consistently great at a fairly decent price. I’ve never been disappointed with it, whether I’m getting pasta, or pizza, or stromboli. If you like NY style pizza, then Ynot is definitely a place to try. To me it’s comparable to what you’d find at a Ray’s location in NYC. I also really like the stromboli and pepperoni rolls. The quality at the Cedar Road location is consistent with other Ynot locations I’ve been to. The Cedar road location is also nice in terms of the interior, and they friendly and attentive staff. Also, on the few times they’ve screwed up my order, they’ve been quick to correct the mistake, even going as far to send a delivery driver to my home for something very small and simple. They also stay open a bit later than a lot of other non fast food places in the Great Bridge area, and as someone who frequently ends up eating late, it’s appreciated The Not So Good: I really don’t have too much bad to say. I feel like Ynot’s prices in general could be slightly cheaper. Also, I find that with Ynot pizza less is more when it comes to toppings. Going over like 3 toppings tends to mean the pizza will pretty soggy and unstable in the middle, although you can ask them to make it «well done» which I think might help counteract this problem. Overall: Ynot is great, and so is this location.

Ynot is a pretty great local chain we have in the Hampton roads area. Delicious pizza, mouth watering deserts, and if you’re vegetarian/vegan they have amazing chopped salads. Yes, I really enjoy ynot. However, I’m giving this location in particular 1 star. I have been twice now to this location. Once was when the store first opened — our seat was near the door that said«DONOTUSE», but guess what, everyone still used it. And it was only a pain because it was super cold and windy that day. They should have just locked the door or moved us when we brought it up. The other night I gave it a second chance on a slow weekday. Our waitress was fine, but the food took over 1 hour to come out. 2 out of 4 of those meals were salads. COMEONYNOT! The 3rd meal was baked ziti(basic). We were one of maybe 7 tables in the restaurant. Honestly if you want to get the best ynot experience you’ll need to go to the location off Coley Ave in Norfolk, they seem to be the only ones that know what they are doing.

This place is has been busy since it’s grand opening and for good reason. The management is great, servers are very much on point & more professional then most. I love their menu… gluten free pizza is an amazing option.

Stopped at your not for gellato with grandson. 2 bowls $ 8.90. A bit too much for such small portions. They provide a spoon the size if the sample spoon so you think your getting more than you actually are. Back to Bruster’s for me!

Went there as a party of 7. The food was okay, nothing special. We all ordered desserts to go. A couple coconut cakes, chocolate cakes and éclair. The coconut cake had flavor although all desserts tasted as perhaps they had been previously frozen. The chocolate cake looked as if was not totally cooked and really had no flavor. The éclair tasted plastic like. Most of the desserts were thrown away… a total waste of money!!!

Came for just coffee and dessert! Yummmmmmm Had the tiramisu, the volcano cake and the tuxedo bomb. Out of the three the tuxedo bomb was the best, love coming here. Great atmosphere! :)

Have«eaten in» and used the«takeout» and«deliver service» with excellent results! I had a pepperoni Strombolli and the portion was huge and capital D … Delicious! Same with the spaghetti dinners and the steak my wife had was great. The side orders were really good with super varieties. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The Manager on duty stopped by the table to check on things. Give this spot a chance and I think you will become a regular like me.

This is my new favorite go to place for Italian food. The cannolis are super fresh and exactly as they should be. I do ask for the chips on the side. My son loves the Chicken Parmesan and the spicy wings. I tried the Sicilian slice and it was perfection. The Chicken Parm sandwich was quite good as well. I’m yet to try their regular pizza and chapped salads. The Mozzarella sticks were quite deish too. The tomato sauce is very good. On all occasions, we had great service.

My visiting brother has some very discernible tastes and can be pickier than me but his meatball sub was delicious. It’s one of the few things he’s enjoyed while visiting. I had my favorite pizza steak(always delicious!) and my husband the philly steak. We ordered take out and it was ready for pick up before the allotted time. All in all a good visit at this location.

Overall great. Awesome service. Staff very on point. They have a full bakery, filled with delicious Italian goodies. Pizza was awesome. I had the chopped salad. It was great too. Just didn’t expect the«steak» is that shredded and tiny. Will not add steak again next time. Not worth it.

Y Not is typically a good place to eat. This location has been open since February and is still trying to work out the kinks. This visit was so-so. The Ravioli was like lukewarm. The service was prompt and friendly. My issue this visit was the smell from the men’s room was horrible. The worse was, you could smell it in the dining room. How the staff couldn’t smell it is beyond me. This needs major correction.

Ordered a meal online to pick up. I enjoyed that I could track the progress online, and the food ended up being ready in less than 15 minutes. The hostess inside greeted me and showed me where to pick up my order. I must have forgotten to take my invisibility cloak off because three or four employees stood in front of me or worked right nearby without even acknowledging me, including an employee who actually left the register and walked away when I walked up. After a few minutes of wondering if I was in the right place, someone finally acknowledged me and got my order. Once I left and was ready to eat, I was quite disappointed to find that my greasy Italian food did not come with napkins, let alone utensils. The food was tasty, but not work nearly $ 9 for a calzone accompanied by bad service.
