Always friendly staff, very clean, and my drink is right every time!

Interesting Starbucks. The service is good but their knowledge of what they sell is very low.
I asked for a regular coffee Vento with vanilla flavor and a shot. The barista gave me a funny look and called for assistance, her fellow barista look puzzled but the young man at the drive-​thru turned with a grin and said she means a shot of expresso. What else could I be talking about? She was standing beside the expressi machine. She was still sweet and polite. But…
It made me giggle all day but seriously.

I bounce between the Starbucks here at Chesapeake Square and the one in Harborview. This one is usually pretty good. I did come one time and the order wasn’t what I wanted, but to their defense I couldn’t remember if I ordered hot instead of cold. Today I went with the vanilla iced coffee with milk. It was great. Coffee was strong, but not overpowering.

As always, I am checking in to another Starbucks b/​c my lovely fiancé needs her caffeine. Gotta have it!
This café is along the main strip of Taylor Road, so be sure to make that left/​right into the plaza (across from Five Guys).
Parking is open to anyone b/​c there are multiple stores in the vicinity that use the same parking. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. (I have not been inside yet due to the fact I only been twice thru the drive thru). The drive thru can be a hassle for others parked of the line gets super long.
Both times at Starbucks, my experiences were very pleasant. Ordering was quick as always. The first outing was a little long winded due to the fact a customer was being very rude/​bothersome and holding up the line. Barista Alex was tending to this customer and provided great customer service through it all. And continue his quality service even when I reached him to cash out!

The drive thru is a blessing at this location. I had hoped when they moved something great would have happened but… service is still slow. Inside is horribly slow whenever I go. Definitely go through the drive thru for faster service. Customer service is satisfactory. Restaurant is clean and we’ll maintained. Although we were over charged today orders are usually made the right the first time.

Eh I’m not really disappointed but at the same time not really impressed with this starbucks store. Sure they greet you and they seem friendly enough, but nothing stands out about this particular location. I usually stick to the frapps which are usually alright, but sometimes a little watery. In my most recent visit, I pulled up to the drive thru to order a smores frapp. They informed me that they haven’t been selling that for a while. Ok cool. Why then is it still being advertised? That’s kinda irritating when a business does that – advertises something that they no longer sell. Time to change up the order board folks. Other than that, nothing else to really comment on. Location is clean btw. as expected and the drive thru line can get pretty long – but that’s at any starbucks. Just pick the right time of day and you should be alright.

Not much of a Starbucks fan (I prefer DD and Wawa coffee more) but this place isn’t too bad. I like the layout of this small shop. Staff was real friendly, the barista gave me a free grande blonde coffee because it was the last batch for the day.
The only two concerns is the traffic flow. One, there is very little parking available. And for what parking there is, the lot is really cramped. It is in a small plaza that used to be a restaurant. Now there is Starbucks, Hair Cuttery, Cricket Mobile, a frozen yogurt bar and a Jersey Mikes. Too small of parking
Second, the drive up is in conveniently placed. You have to drive in front of the small parking lot to get to the drive up window. When the line gets backed up, it blocks all of the parking spaces. Starbucks should have opened on the opposite end of the plaza. This would have made flow so much smoother.
Other than the parking/​drive up, I liked it in here. I can imagine this place gets busy during some days.

Dear Starbucks, for the millionth time I PROMISE that I know what I am ordering. There is no need for you to so graciously correct my order since I CLEARLY have no idea what I’m doing. When I say «Steamed Apple juice with cinnamon dolce syrup, extra hot» that IS what I mean. When you hand me my drink with whip cream and caramel and tell me, «no, IT IS right»… That I am wrong is beyond ridiculous. NO, I… The person who ordered… KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT. A) I don’t want whip cream, B) I don’t want caramel… THAT’S WHY I ORDERED IT THE WAY I DID… And I didn’t realize that «extra hot» meant luke warm. What is normal temperature? Just a hair above you just popped it in the microwave for .001 seconds? Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH for clearly just taking my drink back and spooning off the whip cream and handing it back to me. Even if I wasn’t super pregnant with heightened senses, I would be able to taste the dairy. So thanks for making me gag, wasting yet another $ 4.12, and ruining my already crappy day. It’s holiday and it’s time for Bogo. Obviously it would be a long line between 2 — 5pm but when drove 4 hours to get here I did deserve it. Iced lattes chestnut praline and caramel Brulee so delivious.

This Starbucks has a drive thru and is located by Jersey Mike’s and a Kool Stop yogurt place. There’s also a Hair Cuttery in the same shopping center. it’s located in front of the Chesapeake Square Mall and near a lot of other options for food and shopping. They are super nice and efficient here. It’s always pretty tidy and well kept… including the restrooms. I enjoy sitting inside out of the heat, while practicing my French lessons. It’s never too loud or crazy in there. I always order an unsweetened green tea or an espresso con panna. They consistently get my orders correct and the drinks are always good. They also have lots of really cool merch for sale, as with most any Starbucks… mugs, cups, tumblers, coffee, grinders, presses, etc… They have several outdoor tables for enjoying nice days and watching the traffic on Taylor Road.

This was my favorite Starbucks before they moved, but since they relocated to this beautiful location their service has crashed.
Not sure if they turned over all their staff or just new management, but they are slower than ever with a lot more people working. There seems to be a lot of activity with little productivity.
Recent example from this morning. I ordered an $ 8 venti frappacino and they brought me a grande. I said I paid for a venti and she asked if I just wanted this one. Really? Keep my $ 8 but give me something different than I ordered?
Another time I ordered light soy (cold as a creamer) because its free instead of 60 cents. She rang it up as soy for 60 cents. When I corrected her she said, «it’s OK I’ll just tell them light.» I tried to explain that’s fine but I’m paying for your mistake. She said «that’s OK» and I gave up and paid.
If you are going to charge premium prices then you must give premium service!

Good location, loads of outdoor seating. Parking is small. Has drive thru.
Clean store with bar and chair seating.
Friendly staff!
Had lots of food options and cool drink cooler area.
Neat wooden counters. Enjoyed checking out a be spot for coffee. Location by mall will do well.
