This is another one of those places that I want to like, because it is in a good location for us, but it never quite hits the mark with meals or service. I have tried it about 4 – 5 times now. I am not impressed. I want more and lighter meal options and better service. The menu is pasta and sauces, heavy meat dishes with potatoes, etc. It just doesn’t hit me as a very modern approach to food preparation. Everyone is always very friendly and it draws a big neighborhood crowd, but it just is not my bag. I also think it is a little on the pricey side considering the atmosphere and location. Live music every weekend, which is a plus.
