Konikoff Dentistry

I have never been a fan of the dentist as I have never really had a great experience… Until now! I absolutely love the entire staff at Konikoff Dentistry Cedar Rd. Office.
My family and I see Dr. Engle. He is just such a genuine, down to earth guy! He put me at ease at my first visit when I had to have a tooth pulled a little over a year ago. My anxiety was out of control and he took the time to help me calm down and get myself under control without making me feel stupid or embarrassed. The whole staff did. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me.
Two of my daughters just recently went for their cleaning and again just a great experience. The hygienists are just as kind and friendly as Dr. Engle. I feel terrible I can’t remember her name. but she was going on vacation to Antigua with her husband this month! So as you can see we had a lovely conversation!
So, I give 5 stars to Konikoff dental for helping me return to the dentist and giving all of us top notch dental care with a smile!. My children actually look forward to going for their cleanings!

My son had a dentist appointment here a few weeks ago. This place is very professional and really know how to make a child feel comfortable. Friendly staff great dentists we will be coming here for a very long time

Let me first state that I HATE going to the dentist and it shoots my anxiety through the roof, but I love visiting Dr. Konikoff.
When you first enter the building, you will find that there are 3 doors you can enter as it’s shared with 2 Dr offices. Konikoff is the door to the left. You will check in with one of the young ladies and then have a seat. There is a relaxing salt water fish tank in one corner, a muted TV on another wall, and a separate «theater» room for kids. Of course all the popular magazines throughout.
When they call your name you will meet your hygienist (I always meet with Ms. Kelly!). You will go to your room and they will ask how your teeth are and if you have had any problems. They will take your blood pressure and any needed x rays and then get started. There are TVs in every room and you get to pick what you watch.
After the cleaning your hygienist will go get who ever your dentist is that day for your check up (I always visit with Dr. Konikoff). The Dr. will either tell you that everything is looking good or recommend any work that needs to be done. He is not pushy and will not force you to buy anything. He truly wants to voice what is best for you and then will leave it up to you.
I have had a mouth guard done because I grind my teeth (he recommended one to me for 3 years before I was actually ready to get one).
I have also had 3 cavities filled with him. The last one gave me a strange pain so I went back for him to check and make sure that everything was how it was supposed to be. He took an x-​ray and confirmed that the work looked good, but because I was still in pain a week later, he shaved the filling down which solved the problem and no extra charge.
