Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft

Love this store, so many colorful fabrics. Nice people and they will help you with any questions you might have.

I was able to find what I needed in a jiffy. I was hoping to make this a quick stop but the line was ridiculously long. I couldn’t tell if I were in line for fabric to be cut or in line for the register. Once I figured that out, I was able to skip ahead past two ladies with their carts or arms full of fabrics. I’m certain to be in that same predicament in a couple weeks. I need to make some curtains for my classroom and I think I’d like to cover my bulletin boards in fabric this year.
The cashier was pleasant. She asked me if I were military but didn’t mention the teacher discount. Thank goodness I didn’t forget. It’s not a huge discount, but every little bit helps. Whew!
The prices here were higher than Michael’s Craft Store. I was tempted to put some of my items back and run over to Michael’s but this place has a much larger and better selection of decorative, iron-​on patches. I figured paying a couple bucks more on the other items wouldn’t hurt since I was in a hurry to get back home. I just didn’t feel like making a purchase here just for the patches then running over to Michael’s for the other stuff I wanted. Oh well, it wasn’t a big deal.

If you have been in the new Joann’s concept store than you know just how bad these older locations are. This one is small and while adequate I wouldn’t drive down here unless I needed something specific. I did have a coupon on the phone she let me use.
I will say this store had friendlier staff and was cleaner than the Hampton location. Otherwise, it’s just ok.

This is a little rinky dink store. Most. y just fabric, hardly any other crafts.
The store looks like a yard sale.
I wish there was more selection of other crafts.
They have a great selection of other items online, so it would be helpful if they had more in store.

Was here while my wife shopped. Had to use the restroom. It was absolutely filthy, and there was no toilet paper, except for the stuff that had already been used and was sitting on the floor.

Kinda small, but its like any typical jo-ann’s. Has everything you need for crafts.

Jo-​Ann Fabrics and Crafts store is a little overwhelming to the amateur craft er (me) but it was a really cool place to visit. I needed some fabric for a costume and there was plenty there to choose from, all colors, all materials, I would imagine they have about anything you could every need to make what you want.
The right side of the store is mainly fabric or fabric related while the left side of the store has lots of different arts and crafts. This place kind of reminded me of a Michaels store just with a heck of a lot more fabric. Unfortunately I can’t compare prices because I don’t have any other experience in a fabric store. I would come back here though for anything crafty that I might need.
