The Hughes Center

Very friendly staff and nice office but be prepared to wait for a minimum of at least two hours past your appointment time. I visited the Hughes Center located in Cherry Hill three times in past few months. Each time was at least a 2 hour wait. Also was not happy with results.

I had high hopes for this doctor. I previously went to a male doctor and I thought I would feel more comfortable with a female. The med-​spa side always made me feel like they were doing me a favor. The last straw came yesterday when I was called at 1pm asking if I could come in earlier for my Botox treatment because Dr. Hughes had a lot of cancellations. My original appointment was at 530 and it was then switched to 430. I took PTO so I could accommodate THEM. I drove from my job in north Philly and I got there at 415pm. I waited until 440 to be led into the little exam room and I sat, and sat, and sat. Finally at 530pm, I stuck my head out the door and asked the nurse what was going on. She said she would let the Dr. know. At 540pm, I got up and left. The nurse said to me, she (Dr. Hughes) is coming in right now. I said, «No thanks.» and walked out the door. My time is just as valuable as anyone else’s and I felt extremely disrespected and used. There are plenty of places to go and get treatment and I will NEVER go there again. For the amount of advertising this place does, you would think losing a patient would be a big deal but nope. I didn’t make a scene, I just left. Don’t waste your time with them.

Great center. They great products and Great job really educating people about how to take care of their skin. If you have any questions about your skin, they are more than able and happy to help you address them. They are also really great at not being judgmental about the condition of your skin. I just got a facial from Laurie today, and she is very good at what she does, and very thorough with the facial.

I love Dr. Hughes. I go here for Botox. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always nice.
I’ve been to other dermatologists and have had botox at another doctor before. For some reason, dermatologists always seem to make you wait forever when you have an appointment. This is not the case with Dr. Hughes. I am always seen in a reasonable amount of time. She is also soooo gentle. I hardly feel it when she injects the Botox. She is so sweet and really cares about her patients. And the office even called me after my most recent appointment to make sure everything went ok.
She also has an open house about once a year where you can pre-​purchase different services such as botox for a reduced price.

This is the place to go for laser hair removal! They are the most affordable of the many I called. Some places quoted me up to four times as much and some would not even give me a quote over the phone!
I just had my second treatment and I wish I had done this many years ago. I am so happy with the results so far, has given me much relief already!

I want to take this opportunity to leave a review for Dr Susan Hughes practice. After such a success with my skin regine under her care, I feel that I need to do this so that hopefully I can help someone else that suffers from the same problem I have. Im a 42 yr old female and I’ve suffered from moderate acne since I was 15. Of course, I have spent well over 20 yrs of my life trying to find a cure for my acne. I feel that I’m truly close to fulfilling that dream. Over the summer of 2011, I saw a television commercial for Dr. Hughes office. It just happened to be 30 minutes outside of my location so I made an appt. Here we are about 6 months and my skin looks pretty good compare to what it had always looked. One or two acne pimples would come out pretty much on a weekly basis. Ever since I have been under their care only 2 new pimple have come out and that’s because I STOPPED the régime. However, I’m back with no problem. Just yesterday I did a chemical peel and this morning my skin looks super smooth. I can’t believe that this office has been able to achieve such GREAT results. Its worked so well that I also took my 12 yr old beautiful daughter starting to suffer a bit from acne. Dr. Hughes and Rose Gibson
Medical Aesthetician & Clinical Consultant took the time to review her skin type and generated a skin régime for her containing medicine that I already have along with the medicine that my daughter’s doctor had prescribed. Ms. Gibson has been GREAT! She takes the time to look at my face and explains her next move that she feels will be beneficial to my skin. I personally want to thank her for her expertise and ability to always make me feel at ease.

After contact through email and on the phone. I was booked for a procedure their office does not perform. Even though it was even next to my name in appt book.
