(Cherry Hill, NJ) – A waste of time and $ 300. A badly botched test led to a faulty prescription. The doctor ran an exhaustive series of tests and by that time my vision test rolled around my eyes were so fatigued I could barely keep ‘em open! Unsurprisingly, the result yielded an (incorrect) new eyeglass and contact ‘script, The first time in 15 years that my vision has changed. But here’s the problem, clearly my vision has not changed. And now I walking around with contact lenses and glasses that don’t quite work. The only time I can see is what I’m wearing my glasses on top of my head.
To add insult to injury, the contact lenses I was prescribed happens to be the most expensive ones on the market. And while I’ll admit, I inquired about this particular brand I didn’t realize doing so would lock me into only being able to purchase this particular brand. We all like options so the highest possible price point.
Between the eye exam and the contact lenses, I am $ 300 in the hole. Add to that $ 80 for the second opinion test at another doctor and the total is $ 380. Dr. Applebaum didn’t simply mess up my vision test, he missed it my a mile!
When i returned to the store to address the problem their reply was basically, «tough luck, you didn’t catch our mistake in time.» NO return. NO attempt to make it right at all.
No pun unintended, but eyes wide open at this place. One star was generous.

I had an eye exam and ordered two pairs of glasses from here — one regular and one sunglasses. The place was clean and it was easy to set an appointment. This location has a great selection of frames at fair prices. Everyone was very nice and I was pleased with the services I received. My main complaint is that my glasses took 2 weeks to come in. That’s a long time when you want your new specs!

This is by far the worst eye care I have ever received. I returned my glasses 3 times to get it right. Five trips to the store. My wife made an appointment, but cancelled it a week ahead of time after my experience. They still charged her insurance company for an eye appt. never done. CAN YOU SAY FRAUD ?
The most inept, uneducated workers ever. It took at 4 weeks to get my glasses right. They don’t make them onsite so expect to wait a week to see their first mistake. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IT’s THE WORST

The ladies at Pearle are so friendly and I couldn’t believe how fast they had my glasses ready. In less than 60 min, I had my eye exam, contact fitting, and my new lenses put into my glasses… I was very pleased to walk out of there and be fininshed!
A bright and clean showroom with lots of options for glasses, and they are always running specials. I definitely recommend this location, whether you need an eye exam, or just to buy new glasses.
