Bare Minerals and Bare Escentuals are owned by the same company. This review is for the Bare Minerals store in the Cherry Hill Mall. My BFF& I stopped in so that she could pick up some more foundation — and lo & behold! They were having an event(complete with an ear-splittingly loud DJ) to unveil their new liquid foundation. We both were treated to complete makeovers by Kim(who schlepped over from the Limerick store just for this occaision). I like the new foundation and especially the new brush.(See makeupalley dot com for my product reviews). Service was great and we also snagged a few new items. Great fun!

I credit this store with saving my face. Or at least having a big part in it. Two years ago, I was having a crazy random break out thing going on all over my face and could barely stand to look at myself. A coworker at the time suggested a stop here, and I’ve never looked back.(Quite literally: I refuse to look at pictures from that time in my life!) Mixed with products from Bare Escentuals and The Body Shop, my face cleared up within a few months. I still use the make up every single day and love it despite the cost.

Overall amazing experience! Great products, great service, great atmosphere! I walked over here after a bad experience at sephora(I REALLY wish I saw this place first… oh well). The lady at sephora put Bare Minerals foundation, heat, and mineral veil on me… and I walked out orange! So I walked in here, and a girl immediately walks up to me and asks what she can do for me. I pointed at my face and said«Sephora did this to me… I have heard great things about Bare Minerals, but I refuse to buy it if it makes me look like this! Can you help me?» … And the girl couldn’t have been sweeter! She helped me take off all the makeup, did a shade test to determine my color, and started teaching me how to apply everything using the brushes I would get in the starter kit($ 60). She did half my face, and had me do the other half… SO helpful! When she was done, my skin looked great and perfect.(Funny thing is. she used the same product and same shade as the lady at Sephora… but she actually did it RIGHT!) The girl was so friendly, so helpful, and told me all about how she used the products every day, which ones she used specifically, what their pros and cons were, and what she recommended for me. It was a great experience! She showed me all of their eye shadows and blushes(oh how I wish I had unlimited money to spend on makeup! The colors they had were so beautiful!!) I ended up buying the starter kit for $ 60 which came with 3 different brushes, the foundation powder, a warmer powder, a mineral veil powder, a brush cleaning substance, and an instructional DVD. I also bought the silicone primer to put under the foundation for $ 25. Sounds expensive but the powders will last me 5 to 7 months depending how much I use, and the primer will last about 2 months. Overall, great investment, especially because the products are fantastic! So anyway, if you’re looking for Bare Minerals foundation, makeup, or other skin and beauty products… go right to this place! If you’re not in Cherry Hill, I would check out their other locations, I’m sure they’re just as fantastic! Thanks a lot guys! I will definitely be back!
