Santa’s Land Theme Park & Zoo

Extremely disappointing. The property itself needs a lot of work and maintenance to update it. A few of the rides were down and it is clear they encourage smoking around the park by the placement of buckets of sand used as ashtrays and butt receptacles. This is a children’s park and everywhere we went, including the playground, we could see people smoking, including the staff, and smell their cigarette smoke. A lot of it! Anyone ever heard of secondhand smoke? It’s just as dangerous to people, especially kids, than smoking firsthand. The staff was very friendly and is the only reason they did not receive a 1 star.

We really enjoyed our visit. Super friendly staff, very clean, and not busy at all. The park definitely has a retro feeling but I thought it was very charming. We are considering buying season passes next year. The kids absolutely loved it.

It was a little run down, well a lot, but my toddler loved it. He was overjoyed the whole time we were there. Lots of rides that were just his size.
The zoo was pretty good, especially the goat setup which is super cool with an air bridge. They also had baby bears that they feed with bottles 3 times a day. It was cute. We rode a train around the park a couple of times and watched the magic show, which was surprisingly good.
The concession at the back of the park at the train stop was good, and affordable. Everyone that works there is super old, and that’s ok because they seemed to like kids. There was one young ride attendant named Brittany that. Was great with my son and let him stay on the ride 5 – 6 times.
Exit through the gift shop of course, but all and all it was pretty rad.

Saw this place many years ago, well I decided to take the granddaughter there next time we were down that way. We did and she had a blast, she was only 6 years old at the time. We stayed there all day long And when the day was over she was one tuckerd out kid. The park is set up for small children to about 10, all kiddie rides. They have live animals and a pond with a island and on the islands are monkeys and lemeir’s. They have good food at good prices, and it doesn’t cost a arm and a leg to get in. If you down that way with small children check them out you wont be sorry.
