I had the blueberry pancakes which were good but not as good as the pecan ones. Neither of those were as good as the waffles. Two of my sons had the waffles and bacon. Maybe the best waffles I’ve ever tasted. The bacon is not too crispy. The sausage was average maybe a little spicy for some. Our service was friendly and the food came quickly.

Would be 0 if i could. Sat at the bar, waited 10 mins to order, food was cooked right in front of us and ready to go in about 10 mins when it got sent down the line for expo and it SAT! for 10 more minutes, when we finally said the heck with it and moved on down the road to waffle house where the food is consistently fast and mediocre. DONOTGOHERE!

A nice little breakfast food restaurant that seemed to be a very popular place to eat. I had the blueberry pancakes which were alright, the corned beef hash which was out of this world, and cheese grits. The coffee was delicious… it’s a breakfast place… would stop by again if I were in town!

Rude service! A male staff followed us to the door and accused us of not paying the bill when we left the cash on the table. The waitress was not so friendly and didn’t come by to check on us.

Great place to stop by for lunch after hiking in the park! Friendly, quick service. After hiking all morning the Backpacker’s Pancakes are a treat, delicious and nutty. Best place in Cherokee! Just don’t wait too long, they close at 3:00PM. Be sure to bring cash, they don’t accept credit/debit cards.

Solid food. They wouldn’t allow me any substitutions– I don’t eat meat. Eggs and potatoes were good. Prices are good. We went back the next day.

Excellent breakfast. Fluffy pancakes. Worth the wait. No credit/debit cards accepted today due to machine being down but not usually a problem. Waitresses are on it too!

We always plan our road trips with stopping on the Cherokee Indian Reservation to eat breakfast at Peter’s. It is the best southern breakfast you will find in the area and very affordable. Fast service and friendly people:)

I was traveling with friends for poker tournaments at the nearby Cherokee Casino. One of my friends recommend this place for breakfast. Needless to say we all left very disappointed to put it mildly. Steak and eggs should have been unseasoned shoe leather and eggs. Western omelet was also unseasoned and very watery. The waitress was also inattentive. My omelet didn’t come out right and had to ask several times for a missing side item. Peter’s was also out of all breakfast style bread except for toast. All and all a very underwhelming experience. Can’t recommend you stopping here for their so called«best breakfast in town».

Had a great, southern style brunch today. Fluffy biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs and corned beef hash. Waffles were huge and fluffy. Service was a little slow, but friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself isn’t much to look at, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth the stop.

If you’re gambling at the casino drive the 5 minutes and get breakfast here instead of at the buffet. The pancakes are crispy and big. The eggs are made to order and the dining room has a down home feel without being too grungy. Don’t get the bacon. It was gross. That’s why it gets 4 stars. Coffee and everything else was great.

This is off the beaten path a bit but a hidden treasure. Prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and the service we had was great! I recommend the pancakes! Make sure you bring your appetite! You can ask for a creek side view but it is not a guarantee or you can sit at the counter and watch them cook! Any place you sit is a good spot because you are surrounded by a great view. Great place to grab breakfast and a great cup of coffee!

Visited Cherokee in May, for the first time in ten years. We apparently arrived two weeks before tourist season. The first morning we were in town, we drove down to Peters for breakfast. Nice small-town diner atmosphere, the townies could tell we weren’t from around there, but were welcoming nonetheless. I got two eggs scrambled, a pair of sausage patties and some pancakes. The pancakes we’re good, the sausage was average and the eggs were eggs. Best thing about the place? That diner coffee. My wife was not satisfied at all. Now here’s a disclaimer though, we hail from Western Kentucky where we have become accustomed to the mom and pop breakfast diners here. The two don’t compare. The size of the sausage patty at Peters was about the same as if you picked up a box of frozen patties at Walmart and threw em on the flat top. A few days later, we got 4 sausage and biscuit sandwiches to go. It cost $ 9.00. I was BLOWN away at the cost for what I got. The next day I drove down to Burger King, got four sausage and biscuits that were twice the size for $ 4.25 If you’re a first timer to Cherokee, check it out. Not too many breakfast places in Cherokee.

Just finished a wonderful home style breakfast of light fluffy pancakes, eggs and a thick cut piece of fried bologna I haven’t had bologna like this since my grandpa purchased slices like this from the butcher and brought it home to fry up and eat before going out at the crack of dawn to fish Lovely childhood memories Recommend Peter’s for a great breakfast before hiking in the great smokey mountains

When we visited Bryson city this weekend, this restaurant was recommended by the locals so we decided to try it. Best decision we made because their food was amazing. I got the hitchhiker’s pancakes with bacon and I was not disappointed. Make you get there early because they did get busy when we were leaving. I will definitely be coming back here if I am ever in the area again.

ot bad, not awesome. We had waffles with bacon and ham. The waffles were not very good, but the meat was ok. The staff was efficient but not especially friendly. A little bit expensive site($ 30 tip included) for what we got.

Great spot where you can definatley tell the locals go. Spectacular friendly and fast service. They treat you like youve been going there every day. Coffee is so so but good was above average. Huge portions! I was amazed at how much bacon i had with my order. And two big a$$ biscuits! Pancakes were melt in your mouth! It seems like there are numerous pancake places in Cherokee but this one is the best.

I mean, there’s not much else in this small town, so this was our best bet. We came to gamble and stayed at a hotel right down the street. Beautiful quaint town, but as far as food goes, there aren’t many options. This was one of the«better» breakfast spots in town. Walking in, we seemed like we disrupted the staff. Maybe it was because they were cleaning & getting ready to close and we came in about 45 min before. Anyways, the waitress was alright. We ordered the pecan pancakes, some eggs, toast and diced potatoes. The pecan pancakes were nominated as the best thing there but to us they were okay, kind of dry if you ask me. The best part of the experience was the view. Get your seat towards the back windows. If you’re looking for a quick, simple place to eat, go here. That’s all!
