Teenage boys love JJs, which is understandable with the soft fresh baked bread and tons of tasty meat. Thankfully, the bread is good enough to hide a slew of crisp veggies in their sandwiches, without too much protest. So we were super stoked when this JJ’s came to town. Feed four teen boys, something they all like, healthier than fast food, and cheaper than eating out — SCORE!!. Works great as a bribe too. Promise JJs for lunch if everyone can get out to do some yard work. It’s HARD to find something that appeals to all of them.
I don’t know what makes JJ’s so much better than the rest but they are, hands down. #16 Club Lulu is the original JJ club (w/​o cheese) and the Beach Club are the two I bounce between.
Something for everyone here, even with the JJ’s unwich — which is any sandwich wrapped in lettuce instead of bread.
I do hope they stick around for a long time — or at least until the kids move out.
