Man, this place is awesome. Great service! Festive music! Tasty tasty food! I found this place having moved nearby and craving Filipino food badly. This restaurant has rice and chicarones, closest I could get to very Filipino food within a 10 mile radius. Highly satisfying! I got the super plate combo thing-y. It had a bunch of different meats in it– grilled chicken, steak, saugsage, and chicarones. All good but I could hardly finish it, not a bad thing. It was a huge plate. I ate half of the beans and rice and finished the fried pork. Yum! Took the rest home. My husband had the nachos. The nachos were very different from what we expected but omg was it fantastic. Each triangle had a bunch of steak, salsa, cheese, and guacamole on it. EACHNACHO. There was also an extra huge heap of guacamole and cut up steak in the middle of the plate. I don’t even know why Chelsea gets so much hate. They really have great eats and Curly’s is on top of the list.

It’s an El Salvadorian restaurant masked as an Irish pub/restaurant. Go to the back pages of the menu and you’ll find the hidden gems there. They also serve El Salvadorian beers as well. The portions are big, it’s all super delicious, and it’s never that busy. We ate there on a Friday night and it was practically empty. This is truly a diamond in the rough.

My favorite Latin restaurant in Chelsea! I’m one of few Asian who live in this area. I accidentally found this restaurant, because the 111 bus broke down across the street. I fell in love with Latin food since then! I love their Beef Burrito, Seafood Fajito etc etc. Never let me down whenever I try something new from their place!

It’s a good place. It looks to be a restaurant that’s been around for decades, Probably started by caucasian and more recently transferred ownership to latin american. The menu offers items from both cultures. The interior is very simple, the food is low priced. Nothing fancy at all — I like it.

Great food and great prices. The picada is perfect when you are at home watching the big game. They even serve breakfast all day! The only problem is delivery takes forever! No matter how often you order(and we order often) the driver gets lost. It is very frustrating having to wait sometimes over an hour to get cold food. Other than that I highly recommend eating here!

Tipico Montañero. This plate was the bomb. I grew up in Dorchester, off of Geneva Ave, and in the Ashmont area. I was always surrounded by really good Latin/Portuguese/CV food. So when I moved out of Dorchester, I missed that. Missed having good Latin food steps away from my house… but that changed when my bestie hooked me up with taking me to Curly’s after shopping at Market Basket on Saturday in Chelsea. It smelled good, and the portions were huge from looking at everyone’s plates as we walked in. The atmosphere is casual, prices are good, and service is good too. I ordered the Tipico Montañero. It had rice, beans, salad, chicharon(pork rind — but I only call it chicharon cuz I grew up calling it that), steak, fried egg, and fried plantain. I was in Latin food heaven. It was damn delicious. It even came with tortillas, but I didn’t get to those. The plate was pretty big, and so I took half home for leftovers. I need to come back!

Let just start with I like turkey and all the fixings. But today I had the best turkey dinner ever ! The meal was a traditional thanksgiving meal. Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, sautéed carrots with onions and the most incredible stuffing I have ever had in my life !!! Loved it

I had never heard of this place when I came across the menu and had some food delivered. It was excellent. We had the Eggplant Parm & Chicken Broccoli & Ziti which both came with a beautiful salad and garlic bread and I got the beef burrito. I will definitely do it again.

So I’ve been to Curley’s a few times now and the Pupusa’s are excellent. The neighborhood not so much, I would avoid going after dark as the neighborhood gets very shady. That being said I would definitely return. The staff was friendly, the food came out reasonably quick. If you are looking for authentic El Salvadorian food, look no further.

Excelent Mexican and Salvadoran plates but I wouldn’t say the best in all of Chelsea. I’d say that their mixed plate has been my favorite so far, but everything has been amazing. The atmosphere is pretty great just for the fact that the staff and patrons are extremely friendly. It’s fun to watch a game or Telemundo here and listen to «Ven Por Que Te Necesito» on the jukebox. Brenda does a great job of mixing drinks.

Great family-owned Latin American restaurant! The pupusas are so delicious :-) I have had the queso(cheese) and the frijoles y queso(beans and cheese) pupusas and both were awesome. I grew up on the border and had a tough time finding authentic Mexican/El Salvadorian food, but this place does it right. You really can’t beat the food here! Highly recommend!

Excellent food but service was okay. I ordered the salvadorian breakfast which was delicious. We also tried their pupusas which were good too. If you’re in the area it’s a good cheap restaurant to try.

I came to try out Curlys Restaurant and I am happy to say that I was surprised I usually drive all the way to Chelsea and East Boston hoping I can get a decently authentic Latin meals because most restaurant give a false image of what Mexican food should be. My fajitas were hot, spicy, and Cooked to perfection! Over all I can say the food was great & delicious, i felt like I was actually in Mexico or El Salvador! My service was wonderful with efficient servers that knew about the food they were serving. Over all I give you guys five stars! Thank You!

The name is deceiving. Went here for Latin style breakfast with siblings visiting from California. You will not be disappointed. Huge, delicious plate of food. Salsa scrambled eggs, black beans, plantains, fresh avocado, cheese, cream, green and red salsas. Top it of with an adorable waitress whom addresses you as mama. Great spot.
