This was my regular salon for years until my stylist moved to a new place. Without her, I can’t say much of anything good about it. Since she was still working there at the time, we used Image for all of my pre-wedding beauty routine — manicure, pedicure, hair and makeup — as well as for all my bridesmaids’ hairstyles. I was happy with the hair and how it came out for all the girls(though some of those stylists have now left) as well as myself(I see my stylist now at another salon) but as for everything else… Manicure: I asked for overlays, for TEMPORARY nails(I kept emphasizing this) that I could remove the next day. I reiterated this numerous times. Before I realized what was happening, the manicurist had started the acrylic process and it was too late. I had this done the day before the wedding and woke up the morning of the wedding with one of them already lifting off my nailbed. The day after the wedding, the corner broke off another one. Pedicure: Not a bad experience… until I woke up the next morning, just hours before my wedding, with my left big toe clearly inflamed and infected and very painful. The pedicurist also spoke almost no English, so I was unable to communicate with her while she was working at all. Makeup: A total waste of my time. She was a little bit pushy, griped at me when I said I didn’t like the feel of lipstick and asked about a lip stain(which lasts longer) and honestly did a mediocre job. Most of the makeup she applied was worn off before I got home to finish getting ready and I had to reapply in the mirror at my parents’ house before heading to the church. There is one excellent stylist there, Lucie, whom I have seen when my stylist was not available and she does a great job, but because she is at the highest tier of experience, she costs twice as much. There are other salons in the area that are a much better value. In the Nashua area, my stylist is excellent.(Look for my review of her current salon for more information — don’t want to mention them here.)
