Chelmsford Country Club

Nice little 9-​hole course with mostly par 3s and par 4s. Most of the holes are pretty straight. A few of the greens are elevated and very few of them are flat. There’s a few blind holes and elevated fairways. The course is well maintained. However, miss the fairway and you’ll find yourself in some if the deepest rough you’ve ever seen. Many of tee boxes are in rough shape for some reason.
All in all, a nice course that lends itself to the beginner and average player. At $ 25 for 9 with a cart, you can’t go wrong.

My wife and I recently came here to polish off two years of dust that had collected on our clubs and this course was perfect for such an outing. The holes are generally shorter than you’d find at other, similar courses, though this isn’t strictly a pitch ‘n putt, as a couple of the holes had a surprising length to them.
But honestly, the biggest perk is the relaxed nature of the course. We were late for our tee time but that didn’t phase the courteous staff when we called, there’s no starter or ranger egging you to «move it along,» and we never felt anyone was on our heels. For those of you who have ever had to endure the golf course crunch of having old «serious golfers» searching high and low for lost balls and breaking clubs over their knee in front of you and eager-​beaver golfers hitting into you from behind, this place is sure to be a breath of fresh air.
This is a great place for getting back into the, ahem, swing of things, for beginners to learn the ropes, and for anyone looking for a nice, not too serious day of golf.
I’ve just detracted a couple points for the tee boxes, some of which were a little more dirt/​sand than grass, and the construction of a housing community just next to the course, which wasn’t awesome to golf next to and will likely detract from the rural charm of the course once completed.

The course contains a combination of par 3 and 4s and is 9 holes. I would recommend this course for people just starting out. The best part is that the greens are in very good shape however, some of the tee box’s are not.
