I’m not sure what everyone was talking about having a «bad time». Our visit was very pleasant — the waitress swapped the normal $ 5/flight(3 wines) from their set«daily special» to all white wines for my cousin and swapped the Chardonnay to a Riesling for me, no problem. AND they give you a complementary plate of bread to offset the wine. They also have a nice«Bad Granny Cider».

Karma’s not great vibes. The host wasn’t very friendly and the staff followed lead. The wine was good and our sandwich was excellent. The bathrooms where disgusting.

Just horrible. Came here on weekend away with some girlfriends and out of the vineyards we went to I was most excited about this one because they have champagne and our driver suggested coming here. Upon arriving we were asked(with quite the attitude) if we had a reservation which we did not. We were told we would have an hour wait. Luckily this was not the case and they got us in right away.(They barely had any customers at the time) Once in we see that with parties over 8 automatically have to til 18%, whatever we are all good tippers) and they did let us do separate checks, only because I requested it. I ordered a side salad($ 8 for lettuce, flavorless dressing, dried out cheese and one tomato slice) and glass of champagne. The champagne was ok, nothing special. The salad was disgusting and I didn’t eat it. The waitress also never checked on our table after delivering food to make sure we were ok, and the food was ok. Basic server routine. At the end I ordered a bottle of wine, the server told me it was 31.99, when I got the bill it was 39.99 and my tip I was forced to pay was $ 10 for this pathetic food and service. The server never mentioned the price difference and never gave me a chance to ask about it, just took my money and took off. Will never ever return. I did leave a note on the back of my receipt explaining my experience and my number and I hope the manager actually calls to try and fix this experience. Working in the food industry for 10 years myself this was a very disappointing experience for such a «high end» kind of place.

Karma is hands down the best winery in Chelan. From their savory food to their wine and the sparkling wine is the best. We became sparkling wine members a couple of years ago and have loved every bottle. Don’t be in a hurry when you visit this family owned gem, enjoy the(Karma) moment, as the service is a little slow, but worth the wait!

The only place with a sparkling wine in this area! I love the sparkling wines and several of the Reds. Snack type food and I have always enjoyed their appetizers. Mmmmm!

I’m a «Sparkle» club member, and it was my first time back since signing up over a year ago. I called ahead for a restaurant reservation, tasting and champagne cave tour. They were SO accomodating and made it special for my whole group. I even learned more than the first time. Ron was beyond amazing! And get the BRUSCHETTA, it will blow your mind!

Outstanding wines — their 14 Estate Riesling is amazing and they have a nice selection of reds(be sure to try the TRY). Food is very impressive — the puff pastry Brie plate with local honey is worth skipping breakfast for! Great atmosphere with a very nice patio. Friendly staff who remember us even though we go once every 3 – 4 months. Lots of nice wineries in Chelan but Karma is at the top of our list!

I love Karma! Their wines are divine and the staff is very courteous and prompt. It’s our favorite winery in Chelan. The food is amazingly fresh. I can’t say enough good things about it! Join the wine club! Best parties ever!

My favorite winery to go to in Chelan! If you want food with your wine tasting, this is the place to go, as many of them don’t offer anything to eat with their tastings! Karma’s cheese plate is ridiculously amazing. It’s over the top. There was even dragonfruit with ours! Julie’s attention to detail is evident and she makes all of her customers feel special. Their rosé is my favorite. The wine is definitely some of the best in Chelan, but I would come here for the food alone!

I hardly write reviews but this one is a must… One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a winery. To sum it up, my friends and I went to the winery over the summer and it took forever to just even get noticed and get a table. Finally after about 20 minutes of being unnoticed I tracked someone down and we got a table. The service was horrible… Took forever to get drinks or food ordered. Then the other couple we were with decided to order a bottle of red wine… When it came out the waitress spilled the WHOLE bottle of red wine all over me, which it also shattered across our table and on me. It completely stained and ruined my whole outfit. Which hey anyone can have that happen, especially as a waitress and honestly that wasn’t the problem it was what happened after. The waitress apologized once then never came back to our table. After then waiting for our bill about 45 minutes(wish I was exaggerating) I finally got up and went inside and asked the owner if he could at least comp our bill since the service was beyond terrible and the bottle of wine was spilled on me… Then the rude owner had the audacity to ask me, «well how much is your outfit? We can just pay to have it dry cleaned»… Seriously? First off you don’t ask how much a woman’s outfit is and second how difficult is it to comp a $ 70 bill when you make plenty of money at your winery. After literally being shocked that he asked me that, he finally caved and comped our bill. Needless to say, the sparkling rose is really good but for the literal price, the rude staff and owner… You could get that anywhere else. Not worth it in my opinion. Also a few months later my friend went in to buy a bottle of wine from there and once again the owner was a complete ass hole to her. Looks like things haven’t quite changed. If you own a winery the least you could be is nice to your customers when we are spending $ 50 or more on a bottle. Ugh.

My husband and I got married here and cannot say enough of how FANTASTIC Julie and her staff are. We had such an amazing experience. Their grounds are immaculate and the view in their panoramic garden is to die for! Our guests were astonished when they saw the ceremony site. We also got to have our dinner in their lilac garden which was so romantic and exactly what we I visioned. Their attention to detail is something you do not see often in many small businesses. They made our day better than we could of imagined! All we had to do was drop off all our decorations and they set everything up and broke everything down and we did not have to lift a finger! It was amazing! Brant, the chef is outstanding at what he does, weeks later and our guests are still raving about the food! Karma was so accommodating to us and very generous! They made our day so relaxing and run so smoothly which is very important and appreciated as the bride. We LOVE karma!

Karma is by far my favorite winery!!! Not only do they have amazing wine and bubbles, they have a fabulous staff and the best food in Chelan!!! My husband and I got married there last weekend and it was the most magical day! From the moment we toured there, the staff was so friendly and went above and beyond for us! They treated us like part of their family which immediately sold us on the venue! Thanks so much Karma!!! We love you

I have been to Karma thrice now. And I seem to aaallllways get the bubbly flight! It really is good. Great flavor, but on the spendy side. A tasting of 3 champagnes were $ 20. That’s almost twice what it costs at Chandon! I have tasted a few of the wines as well, and they were good. The winery doesn’t have much of the traditional«wine tasting» feel to it. Everyone is seated at tables and given a full dining and drinks menu. Almost like going to Purple for wine tastings. Instead of a person pouring each wine, they bring all 3 to you, labeled, in a wine glass holder. The background is BEAUTIFUL. The grape vines surrounding you with a view of the lake is just perfection. They do tend to have a lot of weddings at Karma, so it’s best to call ahead to ensure they are seating people when you want to go.

I love KARMA! I may be a little bias because I’m getting married here but the staff is incredible, the food is delicious and the wine is out of this world. I prefer white wine but I could drink their red wine and champagne all day long. The grounds are gorgeous, a nice pond with fish and a great view of the vineyards! If you have the chance to take a peek at the panorama deck up top, do it!(usually only for weddings) The views are breathtaking and it is so peaceful! Also, how cool is it to have a cave? Check that out too! Tons of parking and very easy to get too! During the summer the patio can get packed but it is such a fun place to come! A must«do»(wine tasting) in Chelan!

This was my first wine tasting experience and it was lovely. The service was wonderful and everyone was really knowledgeable about the wine, they even taught us how to properly taste different wines. They give you bread so you can clear your pallet every time you try a new wine which was really helpful and she even let us try different glasses so we can understand how the glass impacted the taste of the wine. The atmosphere was great as well. If you have the chance I would sit inside the cave. It’s decorated like a old wine cellar and there’s a bit more privacy in the seating arrangements. we tried a couple of the small plates but really I would skip them. They are a bit overpriced and really you’re just there to try the wine. I had a wonderful time and if you’re into Pinot’s, theirs is incredible!

I had a nice experience here. I came for here over valentine’s day weekend, so they were very busy. Since the weather was a little cold, they were sitting most of the groups in the cave. I highly recommend checking that section out because it’s soooo neat and unique to Chelan. Unfortunately, the cave wasn’t super full but it sounded like it was full of people– very loud in there. They give you 3 samples of wine with little cards that go with it, it reminded me of Napa. It’s a $ 5 fee, but the proceeds to back to the community. The wine is pricey, but the Syrah’s are really nice, I really liked the Zen blend.

If you are looking for a really awesome experience, like wine, champagne, brandy and awesome food I would highly recommend checking this place out. OH and they have a cave inside that you can sit in and taste or have a meal. Their flat bread is just amazing, I actually crave their pizza its so amazing. Brandy will knock you on your ass, so if you aren’t used to drinking it, maybe share your portion with someone, my cheeks were numb after the brandy tasting and the champagne flight!

Virtuous Wine: 5 Setting: 5 Extras: 5 Karma is our favorite winery in Chelan. The private garden setting, with a Koi pond, is simply gorgeous. They have good food, and the best part is that they give you bread and cheese with your tasting. A classy touch. The owner took care of us personally. Their full range of wines, while great, is just the tip of the iceberg. They also make a full range of champagnes, which are very high in alcohol content. They are mighty tasty. They also started their own distillery! We had the first batch of brandy, which was very good. I believe their whisky is in the barrel, looking forward to that. With their full range extra, this is our favorite. Check out our picture!
