Service was good and the ambiance was cute. Food was not so great. *Greasy egg rolls *Mushy rice *Strange tasting sauce for the yakisoba noodles

The food was not very good when we stopped over for lunch at this place. We had the yakisoba chicken and the chicken tastes fine but did not have a lot of flavor. We also had the spring rolls and gyoza at this place. The first roll tasted fine but from the second roll it all tasted a little doughy. Between the spring rolls and gyoza I preferred the gyoza, but am not sure I would order either of them if I went back.

I’ve been here a few times and it is never bad though I don’t stray to far from my chicken teriyaki, my girlfriend is more adventurous and has had some hit and miss meals. We’ll be back though because ultimately it’s good food and the service is always welcoming and friendly.

My family went here after trick or treating. We saw this place while seeking out candy. We were starving after walking the town. Good food was our only priority! We’re still searching! We entered, service was nice. Place looked clean. Now time to order. First we ordered chicken spring rolls. After aprox 10m they said only had veg. Rolls. We said no thanks. Eventually a woman asked if we wanted pot stickers ordered by someone else who apparently left. She said on the house for not having the rolls. She said it was fixing the mistake which then made it a no mistake. Strike 1! My son ordered a chicken and white sticky rice, time was 6:30ish pm. We were told no white rice only brown & no more white rice would be made because it was to late. Brown rice my kid doesn’t like Strike 2! Couldn’t serve beer! Strike 3! Hubby ordered a chicken& steak with yakisoba. Chicken was good, the beef was like leather it was over cooked. Strike 4! And then there was my meal. I ordered Salmon with yakisoba. The salmon was burnt black on the bottom and so dry. A perfectly yummy piece of salmon absolutely ruined. Strike 5! After one bite and pushing plate to the side the waitress came with another piece of salmon apologizing for cook who said he didn’t prepare first piece. Yet he never left kitchen still allowed the first burnt piece to be plated. After a very disappointing meal and paying a way to high bill we still went home starving wishing we had stuck to our usual, The Quick Wok. Will not be trying this restaurant again

Stopped in for a meal during a conference. i would say that this is a great asian fusion menu. The food was fresh, quickly prepared and very tasty. It also was really a lot of food. I enjoyed the service and being able to watch the food being prepared. Really a nice location, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Delicious, fresh food and wonderful service. I’ve been here 3 times and have never been disappointed. I have gotten the chicken and beef teriyaki combo with brown rice and slaw. The meat is perfectly cooked and that slaw is the best. Finally a place that offers brown rice! My lunch buddy got tofu and veggies and loved every mouth full. Even the water is good with a choice of cucumber(which I recommend) or lemon or just plain. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

It was okay. Owner was friendly, definitely Americanized teriyaki !!! If you want good authentic teriyaki don’t recommend it. Flavor was good but not good enough to coat as much as it did. Not disappointed but not really satisfied. It was just something to eat, but let’s just say I would have rather went to get pizza at west side pizza.

Great flavor but way too Americanized. Teriyaki should not be fancy and be plentiful. Their Katsu is not katsu… Not even breaded. Their gyoza… Not like gyoza. Good flavor… But can’t call it teriyaki.

Was in town for the weekend and thought Teriyaki sounded good. Placed order by phone for pickup. They told us 15 – 20 minutes. We probably got there within 23 minutes and was told, «We were about to give your order to another customer.» Um Okay? Well they must have, because we got back to our hotel and the order was wrong. Went back to get original order. The teriyaki was okay. Edible I guess you could say. The rice though? Have you ever heard of rice mashed potatoes? Neither have I, but apparently thats what they serve because the rice was so over cooked thats what the consistency was.

Chelan Teriyaki is one of my favorite restaurants in Chelan! The food is amazing and such great quality! I go there quite a bit and not once have I had a bad experience. I always get cucumber water, Chicken Teriyaki to a level 3 spicy or chicken Yakisoba to a level 3 spicy! So AMAZING! Great customer service!

This was the worst teriyaki I’ve ever had in my entire life. In fact I didn’t think you could screw up teriyaki but I guess I was wrong. Adorable setting lovely looking from the outside but the beef was disgusting and like chewing on rubber bands. Chicken was barely tolerable and cold. Salad was warm and tasteless. It’s a shame because it’s a great location.

It was literally the worst teriyaki I’ve ever had in my life(and I come from Seattle) anyone who says this place is good has no idea what they are talking about. Super dry and was 90% vegetables. Awful. No chance I ever go here again.

Went back for more, big mistake. I’ve been spoiled with good teriyaki in the big city and this is just flavorless runny filler. Very disappointed again. Will never be going back. Friendly staff but I like good tariyaki and this was just not good, not even ok compared to the good stuff. The culture is pretentious and the food not authentically made. I would give another star for the staffs friendliness but that is not a good enough reason

I’m not much of a teriyaki fan but this place changed my tune! The owners and waitstaff were incredibly friendly. My husband and I had a good time sitting at the counter watching the cooks and chatting with the owners. They serve hot jasmine tea as well as two different kinds of infused water(cucumber or citrus) among many other beverage options. My husband had the Spicy Chicken Breast Yakisoba(4 star spicy) and I had the Orange Chicken Breast Yakisoba. Both were phenomenal. The noodles were tender, the veggies and meat were fresh, and the sauces were incredible. There was something so delicious about the combination of teriyaki sauce and orange sauce! I loved every bite and can’t wait for my leftovers tomorrow! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Chelan!

When you are supposed to be open till 9pm… Do not let a customer in at 810pm, hand them a menu and then tell them that you have decided to close early and that I need to leave. Freaking bad business! Not only did you lose a huge order from a family of 8 — I will never come back!

Excellent food, not like any other teriyaki joint. The chicken was thick and very lean and tender. Normally teriyaki places will give you the worst looking pieces of chicken but not here. Portions were just enough. Great friendly service. Hot and tasteful food. Rice was a little on the mushy side but we did come in between lunch and dinner. Would not rate this place down because of their rice. Chicken teriyaki and yakisoba was excellent!

Really a nice surprise. Healthy and good portions. We got the noodles and they were good, teriyaki was fantastic. Gyoz dumplings are just fair, but really good for lake chelan. Hope you stick around.

Hidden gem in the historic downtown of Chelan! We ordered a large chicken teriyaki and said were going to split it amongst the two of us and without asking, the waitress divided the dish onto two plates! Tip: ask for the katsu sauce with your teriyaki, it adds more flavor and juiciness. Also, we sat outside because we had our dog with us and the owner brought out a bowl of water for him!

We’ve been to this place several times and really like it. It’s super clean, the décor is sharp and stylish, the food is very good, portions are large, service is great and the price is right. I had the Teriyaki Chicken, which was fresh, hot, flavorful and lovely. My husband had the Gyoza and said it was great. Several blends of tea offered are a nice extra. The staff there are all quite nice, which really enhances the experience. Each time we’ve been there, the owner stops by to welcome us and makes sure we’re taken care of. Between the food, the price, the atmosphere and the personal service – this place is an easy home run. We’ll make it a regular stop whenever we got to Chelan.

Is it traditional or authentic? No. Is it yummy? Ya! This is a small resort town. I’ve lived all over the country and if I wanted to find the most traditional styles of traditional foods I wouldn’t have moved here to find it, but if you can cool your jets and be open minded, you won’t be disappointed. We ordered the Gyoza. Was it really Gyoza? No. It was more like an empanada hybrid but it was tasty and that’s what matters. Next we had the terIyaki. The beef was high quality and cooked just right. The owner suggested a sauce option and he was right. We enjoyed the food and the cute one way banter between the cook and the owner. It was like The Odd Couple. Borderline weird. Hilarious. Very memorable. We tried the dessert because it’s cheap so why not? It was a banana chocolate crunchy thing that satisfied. No reason to complain. If you want wine, just let them offer whatever they have. They offer some variety that isn’t listed on the menu and if it’s on the menu they may not have it. Too funny. I wish the prices could be a little lower but I know how expensive and difficult it is to operate a business in Chelan so I prepare for this before I decide to dine out. Bottomline: I’m glad for another place to eat in town that is yummy. I’m proud to support local businesses, and I’m hopeful that by frequenting places like this I can contribute to the sprouting of more places like this.
