Great selection of tap beer and an even greater selection of bottled beer. Food was very good and a really nice bar staff

Good food!!! VERYNOISY!!! If u want to have a conversation this is not the place for u. Do not do a first date here!!! The acoustics are HORRIBLE!!! Then they have live music(usually not good live music!!) on top of everyone screaming at each other to be heard over the music & echo of sound bouncing off the brick & wood walls… its migrane causing!!! So my advice is to do an early dinner before the crowd and music is there!!! But the FOODISGOOD, GOOD, GOOD! Looking at the other reviews it seems they have some work to do!!! Hopefully the owner/manager reads the reviews and acts on them.

Came here with my boyfriend before heading to a movie, it was a bit hidden and hard to find within the mall. We walked in and noticed an area with chairs and couches in front of the TV and asked if we could sit there since the bar was full. No one ended up coming to us to serve us at all, asked for a menu a bit later and a young woman provided us with one but never came back to ask for our drink order. My boyfriend ended up going up to the bar and getting the beers, he did say they were a bit pricey but it’s craft beer we can’t complain much about that. We didn’t get any food but I’ve heard that it’s pretty good. Im sure we will be back again maybe after a day of shopping or before a movie as well.

This place was decent. We had to wait a while for a table, but that’s understandable, considering we had 11 people, and it’s sort of a small place. I got the pesto chicken sandwich without the bun. It was good, nothing special, but good. I wish they had more healthy choices. I can’t eat carbs, and there wasn’t much on the menu that I could eat. But, this place is a bar, so bar food is expected. Overall, 3 out of 5 stars. I’d probably go back if someone offered, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go there.

This is definitely not the place for food. I went to this place with my husband and ordered 20 medium chicken wings. It tasted too salty and their medium is definitely not medium. It was mild actually. I have had better chicken wings before… 1000 better times than world of beer wings. We had a tough time to finish those wings. We could hardly eat 8. I am not visiting this place again where the food is so salty.

I had hope but this place is average. They have a large selection of beers on tap and even more in bottles but considering their name, they’d better. I can drink bottled beer anywhere so I opted for what’s on tap. Unfortunately everything I really wanted was out. They are good about giving you samples while you choose a beer but my bartender didn’t offer much help in the way of making suggestions. I mean, what makes this place different from anywhere else if you can’t stand out thanks to your knowledge and service? I guess I should have guessed that coming to a place called World of Beer at the mall might be underwhelming – so much for hope.

Ok, I love my beer and truly can appreciate a great selection ! They do have a great selection AND it is at the mall. Very nice. That being said. I arrived here at 3 pm on a Saturday, no one greeted us. I stood in the doorway for 3 min before I saw a server to ask if we could sit anywhere or what was the protocol. You can just come in and sit down. We sat at the bar. We ordered some food and a beer. No one really paid us any attention after that. No «how was your food?» «Can I get you something else ?» «Would you like another beer ?» They just placed the check in front of us and walked away. I’m a stickler for good customer service. Unfortunately, although not horrible, it was just non existent this day. The beer was good. The food was OK, the service was poor. Hopefully they will get someone in there to manage the situation. If they can take care of that, it should do just fine . Update: After my posting, the business owner promptly commented and messaged me expressing her concern and desire to work with her team to ensure that the are giving top quality customer service. I appreciate the swift response and based on that owner’s desire to correct the situation am sure that our next visit will be stellar ! Thanks for for the message Jessica !!

Go for the beer, not the food. I dont drink, but my wife does. So I can only enjoy food when dining… and I did not enjoy it here. First off on cleanliness– the mens bathroom was dirty and had debris all over the floor, in the urinals and in the sink. The womens bathroom had no soap. We ordered a sausage trio board as an app which was decent. More dishes like this would seem appropriate givin the setting, but were no where to be found on the menu. We also ordered shrimp Tacos. The shell was charred, but the shrimp were undercooked and slid right out of the breading whole. the lime shiracha sauce was bland and neither of us could taste shiracha. The reuben was the last thing ordered. It came with tator tots that were obviously from a frozen bag. The corned beef was low quality, and the bread under toasted.

Definitely where I’ll be stopping after a long day of shopping! They have SOMANY different types of beer and it was cool to try some new brews that you can’t get many other places — the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, wielding all powerful tablets dedicated to their vast beer selection. I love a place where you can sample and learn about a lot of products. In this case, the products were beer, making the experience ever more pleasant. From stouts to lagers and all different types of origin and ABV, there are tons of different options to taste, and pair with your meal. I had the fried shrimp tacos — they were beautiful. I love tacos.

I thought this place was so cool! It was on my list of places to go to when I was in town last week so I was very excited to try it out. They have an extensive list of beers that change daily because the date is listed on the menu of the beers. They also have flights as well. The prices are totally reasonable and they have something for everyone. They also have a lot of tasty food and not just normal bar food. We tried the tavern tutor tots which were awesome. They have beer cheese sour cream and jalapeños. This is a must try in my book. You should also try the french onion soup. Instead of normal bread pieces it comes with pretzel bread pieces. it was an interesting but enjoyable twist. The best part is its in the mall! So you can shop and then stop in for a couple drinks. Shopping and drinking? Sounds like a perfect day to me. This is on my list to visit again when I’m back in town.

Aside from the fact that this place and I got off to a slow start(tv issues and slow acknowledgement), I think it’s a pretty cool spot. I’m not a beer drinker, but I got a Black and Tan for the heck if it. They have a full bar, so I could have gotten a cocktail, but I came to see if a friend was working when I was supposed to be running errands. I ordered fish tacos for here and wings to go. I can’t speak on the wings just yet, but the tacos were really good. They use ahi tuna, which is very light and doesn’t have much taste(unless you like the taste of ahi tuna, which I do) so at first bite, I was disappointed that there wasn’t more flavor. After the proceeding bites, I realized that every flavor that was supposed to be there was, and I appreciated that. The rest of the menu looks worth returning for too. I can tell that even though this is a bar/pub, they have opted out of selling solely bar/pub food. The tacos were a demonstration that they care about selection, taste and presentation. I’ll be back for sure.

Only drank at World of Beer but the experience was pretty enjoyable. It is hard to forget that you are inside of a mall while you’re here and for that reason, I just can’t give 5 stars. The place isn’t that big, but they make good use of the space with plenty of seating at the bar a few high top tables and high top bar areas along the wall. My favorite part of the entire place and the reason why we will most likely return is the living room set up they have. We were immediately drawn to this area of the restaurant. They have two leather couches, four end tables, two big chairs, a beautiful dark brown rustic entertainment center with décor like you’d expect to find in a living room with a big television screen. It was awesome, there were outlets to charge your phone, tables for your beer, I really felt like I was in my living room, being waited on, so awesome. Before noticing this area, however, we went up to the bar to check out their selection. Tons of drafts and a cooler on the left side of the bar containing all of their bottled beers. There was only one draft list available and it took a few for a bartender to recognize us, she seemed a bit flustered. She eventually handed us an additional list but it didn’t contain a list of bottles. We asked for a bottle list and were told it was on the iPad and she’d bring it over. She ended up forgetting to hand us the iPad but it was fine as we saw beers we wanted to try on tap. They have a couple flight options, but they are separated by style, so you can try a flight of IPAs or a flight of Belgian style beers, or Lagers and so on. The menu was separated by the style of the beer too and I really enjoyed that each beer had a flavor profile and also listed the kind of glass it would be coming in. I thought that was really cool! Beers were reasonably priced around $ 5-$ 8. I had an issue because the bartender really wasn’t knowledgable about the beers. I asked for her opinion about a couple and she just said, «People seem to think it’s good and I think that one is selling well.» I think a bit of beer knowledge and fluency in speaking about the different styles might be a prerequisite to working here. I don’t know, just a thought. Once we sat in the living room area we put our beers down on the end table, relaxed and watched the football game. A waitress came over to us quite often to check if we needed anything. She was so attentive and kind, bringing us water refills and taking additional beer orders throughout the evening. There were many televisions over the bar, one big one in the main living area and some along the side. We could have stayed there all night, unfortunately it’s a 25 minute drive away from home however. The food menu looked okay, but finding something healthy was a bit difficult. They did have two or three options under 500 calories which included a hummus wrap, kale salad and caesar salad, other than that you’re looking at 1000 calories plus, aware of this because the menu states calories, which is great but also very easy to see that it’s very difficult to find something that is good for you. This will be a place I will stop by for a beer or two to break up my shopping experience, but unfortunately because it is so far from home wouldn’t come here for an extended time. My other big complaint is that it is very hard to find once you’re in the mall if you don’t know it exists. We strolled around the mall for almost two hours, shopping with a goal of eventually coming to this place when we found it. We searched up and down the mall until we finally did a full circle and still couldn’t find it. We ended up asking someone in a store where to find it. Driving outside the mall, it’s easy to find, but inside, not so much so keep your eyes peeled.

Did not eat here so this review is not for food. Overall, I wasn’t blown away as I expected to be. The beer selection was good but wasn’t *that* special; I can get these beers at many downtown bars and restaurants. The service was a tad strange. Friendly yes but the server didn’t really know beer. We saw her ask the bartender which was the stout and which was the pilsner before she brought them to our table … um … visually, I think she should have known the answer. They really should employ people who know beer if they’re going to be called«World of Beer.» Not to mention it took at least 10 minutes for them to bring our beer — 2 pints in a half empty bar … no idea why it took that long. I am not trying to nit-pick but this was an overall odd experience.

I was underwhelmed by World of Beer, unfortunately. I was excited about it coming to the area but after stopping in on a recent weeknight, I won’t be making any special trips to the mall just for this place. The beer menu was impressive, as one would expect, but for some reason our server could only give us a list of the draught beer and not the ones by the bottle. I felt like I was missing out with a list of only half of what they had to offer. The service was generally lackluster and although our server was sweet, she knew nothing about the beer offerings. We watched her smell our beers after the bartender poured them and ask which was which before delivering it to our table.

We ate here on Monday, 10÷05÷15. My only major complaint is that it was absolutely freezing cold in here. It wasn’t super cold outside, maybe around 60 degrees, but there was cold air blowing through the whole place. The waitresses were all wearing sweatshirts. If they can’t keep this place warm once it really gets cold out, I don’t think many people will be going there for a sit-down dinner. I subtracted a star for this reason. That rant over, I love the concept of this place, and the servers and bartenders here were exceptional in attitude, even if the servers weren’t totally knowledgeable about the beer and menu. Before this visit, I also stopped for just a couple of beers right around the time that they opened and the bartenders were extremely and friendly very informational. But on our first visit for food, the wait staff, while very friendly and efficient, were not able to answer our questions about the menu and beers served. To start, I ordered the flight of four locally brewed beers, bartender’s choice. I was a little puzzled that all four of them were Ellicottville Brewery products, but that’s OK because I know that EBC has quality products, and I enjoyed each of my beers. The food was pretty basic chain type food. I had a reuben with a side of tater tots. My wife had a steak salad. Neither were mind-blowing, but certainly enjoyable. We had to ask for silverware and salt & pepper. But we were able to get them no problem because there was enough staff on hand. Unusual that salt & pepper were not on each table. I love that they have live music 3 – 4 nights per week. Most chains don’t bother with that. I will definitely go back, but they have to make the temperature comfortable and work out the minor kinks natural to a fairly new restaurant. If they can accomplish that on my next visit, I will up them to 4 stars.

This is really nice place for lunch or dinner if you’re at the Walden Galleria. The selection of beers is really excellent: I’m enjoying a delicious Belgian sour, St. Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition. The fried pickles are chips, as they should be, not gushy pickle spears. My Chimay Burger was perfectly cooked to order, medium rare, and very tasty. This location will appeal mostly to folks who are afraid to go «downtown» to Blue Monk or any of the other excellent gastropubs in the city, but it holds its own and is well worth a visit. Beer snobs won’t be disappointed.

What a nice addition to the mall. As the name suggests, they offer a wide variety of beer on tap, with an even greater selection in bottles. The food is standard pub fare, and we found to be quite reasonable. The service was good. This was an all around enjoyable experience!

Always gotta check out the new place in town, especially when it’s called World of Beer! With a name like World of Beer I was expecting a rather large selection of beer categorized in terms of origin. I wasn’t overly impressed, I was rather disappointed actually. The beer menu was easy to navigate with bold lettering and everything categorized in terms of taste and not origin. The menu I’m referring to was the draught menu, I wasn’t given a bottle menu which I thought was odd(server mistake?) The bar itself looks nice. I liked the look of the light up cooler wall that houses all the bottled beers. There are 4 options of where to dine; inside the restaurant, at the bar, in the indoor patio or on the outside patio. I sat outside on the patio in front of a gas powered fireplace which was nice due the weather starting to change to autumn. I ordered three beers(almanac farmers citrus, muskoka moonlight kettle series: white ipa, and Pilsner Urquell) and the Margherita flatbread. The flatbread came out fast which was nice, but it was nothing spectacular. My friend ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and only ate a quarter of it because he didn’t like it all(shocking). On a positive note, the beers we had were delicious.
