Fantastic! Buffalo is so fortunate to still have these Italian family owned and run restaurants. People who visit from places like Virginia and Georgia love us taking them to these unique places, as all they get are chains where they live. OK… here’s the deal! Real Italian food, low prices and super large servings. You can’t beat that! The waitresses are all friendly… especially Ashley and Brittany. My favorite is the eggplant parm… it’s crispy with sauce on top… FOUR pieces with mozzerella on top, PLUS a huge side dish of pasta and a salad! Their sauce is outstanding. My husband and I have been eating there at least once a week for 10 years. We love it. For two of us, the bill is usually about $ 25. so that is NOT pricey. The sauce is not sweet as someone mentioned. I don’t like sweetened sauce. They sweetened just enough to cut the acid. Their sauce is real Italian. They have great fish fries with plenty of sides. I get at least 2 meals at home from the left overs. My husband loves their chicken fingers that are about 10 inches long. What don’t I like??? If I have to find something negative I’d say the french fries, which I shouldn’t have anyway… but they are steak fries, those big ones that I don’t care for. So we always order their homemade potato chips with our meals, and they are delicious. The salad bar is always spotlessly clean, and has a lot of variety… more than most I’ve seen and at lunch time they serve pizza with the salad bar. They cater to parties in the back room, and they tolerate children very well and even have a train set up with lights and all to entertain them. But, I’ve forgotten the best feature… they cater to gluten free! The pizza is great and so is the penne pasta. So there is something for everyone here. My very favorite Buffalo area restaurant. You probably think from my ravings that I’m a friend or relative… well, I’m not. Just a regular who is always greeted like a friend when I arrive. My granddaughter has been coming there with me for 4 years and when she was 3 we’d ask her where she wanted to go for dinner, and she’d yell T O N Y’S!!! We took her there one night, and Tony heard her say that, and came over and gave us free dessert. That was the first time I met the actual Tony. My waitress said that his son Greg runs the place, but we all know Tony is frequently there making sure all is well. And he eats there! I met Greg once. Oh and they accept credit cards, and there is FREEWIFI! Another plus, they have loads of booths! I just feel so at home there. Try it. You’ll love it, but save me a parking space. :)

Tried the dinner buffet for the first time tonight and for $ 10 you can’t go wrong! They offered warm rolls, two kinds of soup(I had the minestrone) which was loaded with lots of veggies, a great salad bar with lots of options and then two choices for a warm dish pizza or penne pasta with meatballs & sauce. The waitress was very attentive… even when my mom spilled her drink all over the table! My dad enjoyed an ice cold beer in a frosted mug too!

Always good food, pizza and subs. Fish fry is one the best in the area! Always happy with the service here!

So I am new to the neighborhood and the old owners of the house left a couple menus. So when I decided to do my big move since I had a bunch of people at he house I decided to order from Tony’s. I called and a nice gentlemen answered the phone. I asked if they would deliver to Sloan? The gentlemen said he was unsure and to give him a min and he would find out. While on hold for literally 5+ min till they figured it out. They said they would. I ordered the special sheet pizza and a bucket of wings. While ordering the gentlemen on the phone seemed new and was kinda confused. However I got the order in. Since I was paying with a credit card they needed to transfer me some lady. 3 min wait. After hanging up I really was not secure that my order was correct. However our food arrived early, correct and very good. I will def order again.

After finding out that Torella’s closed I ordered a pizza sub and a side of their generous portion of onion rings, I should have taken a picture of the 5 or 6 greasy onion rings at $ 5.50 an order that’s about a $ 1 an onion ring, the sub was very bland will not go back.

This my favorite spot in Cheektowaga. I’ve had dinner, lunch and catering. The burgers and sandwiches are fantastic. The dinners are well portioned and full of flavor. The pizza and bbq chicken fingers are a family favorite. On the catering the menu is very broad and fresh. The service has been great on both business and personal catering.

One of the better pizza places in Cheektowaga for sure. The menu looks similar to most from the area with a good assortment of subs, pizza, and wings, all of which are quality. One quality option many may not think of is the chicken club salad which is not only huge, but full of a large amount of chicken and bacon. A great salad for a guy who is looking for the emotional satisfaction of «eating a salad» while still meeting his daily bacon requirement! The lunch buffet is also very good with a full salad bar as well as varying different types of pizza including some specialty pizzas for just under $ 10. Dining in has been a pleasant experience as well. The menu offers the same options as take out but also adds about a dozen or so more choices from chicken/eggplant parm to a bunch of other Italian staples. The one downside is the consistency – at times dishes like the French onion soup were some of the best I’ve ever had, while other days made it seem as if it were missing a few ingredients. Overall in an area of buffalo dominated by chains and corporate nonsense Tonys is a breath of local fresh air.

Love the pizza! Love it! I was shocked as soon as I opened the box at this pizza! Toppings a plenty I guess you can say! They tasted great, especially the Italian sausage! The sauce was sweet and tasty and even the amount of cheese used was great! The only thing I didn’t like was it was just a touch under cooked for me «personally» I prefer the dough a little firmer when finished. And I like my peps with char on the edge but hey I’m not complaining when it tastes great! Tonys you make one kick ass pizza! I can’t review about the dine in side but it seems like they always offer some sort of dine in specials!

Ok, so firstly, we called our order in, and then still had to wait an extra 20 minutes for our pizza to be done AFTER we arrived 30 minutes after the phone call. Secondly, we got the pizza, expecting something that wasn’t too expensive, but our one sheet pizza was over $ 32! When we got home, the pizza was not what I was expecting at all. The image on the website in no way represents the pizza we were given. I expected thinner crust, and the slightly soggy dough definitely made the texture bad. One good thing is that they did at least use fresh mushrooms instead of those pizzerias that just use canned ones The sauce was thin, and the pizza was very greasy. When you got a taste of the sauce, it wasn’t bad, just needed to be a bit more. Unfortunately it does not make my favorite pizzeria list. Maybe I will try it again in a few weeks to see if it was just a bad day…

great lunch buffet! They always have two kinds of soup. They always have a salad bar fresh and fully stocked. They always have at least two different kinds of pizza to choose from. Plus, they always have something special like paninnis, and stuffed green peppers… FOR A LUNCHBUFFET! This is the best lunch buffet around in my opinion.

When asked, Billy Joel said that«Anthony’s Song» was named as such because there was an Anthony in every NYC area neighborhood. Well there’s one in Cheektowaga too, and it’s this place. Tony’s slice is really, really good. I got it when I was on a five-Pizzeria tour of the Depew area to see who had the best slices, and Tony’s came out as the second best after Bob’s Poplar. It was the second most delicious of the five and one of the 20 best in the city too, for that matter. I tried it again more recently and it wasn’t quite as good, I’m not sure why. A little dry, sitting around maybe. What is it with Pizza in Buffalo? It is simply the best I’ve ever tasted and there are probably 200 good options. I recommend the big 8(my personal faves), which are Bozanna’s(Clarence), Avenue(Broadway & Bailey, East Buffalo), Bob’s Poplar(Cheektowaga), Blasdell(southtowns), Imperial(South Buffalo), Zip’s(North Buffalo), Francos(Eggert location in Amherst), and Yogi’s(Akron). The last one is more Brick-Oven style than typical Buffalo style. All 8 slices are pure heaven and must not be missed under any circumstances. I can’t say it enough — if you’re just trying a slice, make sure the Pizza is either straight out of the oven piping hot, or reheated in the oven. Chicago Pizza is amazing, and NYC Pizza is special, but Buffalo, for me, beats them both. Please don’t talk to me about STL Pizza or Cali Pizza(ew). Buffalo Pizza is fluffier, doughier, cheesier, saucier, and pepperonier than anything you’ve ever had. If Chicago is a crusty pie and NYC is a huge flat slice, then Buffalo is quintessential Pizza. It’s just so good. They also do excellent Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Steak Pizzas here in Buffalo. Dreamy. I will stand under oath and swear that Buffalo Pizza is the best in the land. Please don’t ever order Pizza from Domino’s, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut et al. Those major corporations don’t need a penny of your money, and they are bland cookie cutter chains that spend all their money on advertising. Please frequent your locally owned Pizza shops. They need it more, they’re real local people, and the food is almost always wildly superior, anyway.

SUCKS! Waited for 30 minutes for two personal pan pizzas. The staff was more interested in watching TV. After waiting and waiting we told them we had to leave to catch a plane and the gave us a bill for the whole thing! Duh morons, I am not paying for something I did not get! Then more confusion sets in. Manager not there, no one knows what to do. I know what to do. Threw them a few bucks for the wine and walked out. Pitiful, stay away. I cannot give this zero stars, and they deserve a negative rating. Avoid! Too many choices to chance it here.
