This was a good ol’ diner meal. Despite my entire meal being served at tepid temperature. Despite ordering one dry kids burger and receiving all four burgers with no condiments. Despite the waitress slapping menus in the dividers between booths so that patrons were hit by them. Despite the same waitress standing by my table and bellowing which college boy she wanted to take to the movies this night. Listen, I can handle slightly grizzled service for a great diner but there’s no call for distracted teens jacking up my meal. As a point of decorum, one should apologize when head bonking a customer with a menu

We stopped at June’s today for lunch around 11 a.m. The front door was locked, and no one was around. Have they closed?
12÷16÷15 update: Received a note from the owner today. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and was recently closed temporarily for some maintenance. Guess we hit them during one of those times. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll give it a try.

We found this place onYelp while driving from Dallas to Arkansas. I have to say the boneless fried chicken pieces are really good. We also got fried green beans which were good. I know fried food Palooza, but it seemed appropriate for where we were. The portions are huge, get a half order unless you are marathon training.

Great food and great service. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was amazing!!! The cheddar balls I’ll pass on next time. Thought they’d be battered, not breaded, but the chicken sandwich sure made up for what the cheese balls were lacking. Everyone was real nice even though some locals were certainly starring at us out of towners. My husbands burger was alright, nothing to write home about. The boys grilled cheese and fries must’ve been good because he devoured everything on his plate before we left. They even gave us Togo drinks since we told them that we were just passing through heading back to SoCal. I love to go drinks! Huge bonus points!

The chicken salad here is REALLY good! Very flavorful chicken! I also sampled the fried chicken pieces from my son’s plate and or was as good as homemade. Very reasonable prices for the portion sizes. Glad we read the Unilocal reviews and chose to stop here!

An area favorite, someone in the party has to try the boneless chicken, then share a little. Honestly everything we ordered was above average good eats. Not a fan of fried pickles but wife and kids are, so we have to try June’s and they are by far the best I’ve ever tasted. The pickles are a little thicker than most places and fresh-​n-​crispy. Go early cause it’s busy.

Ya gotta love Unilocal… Rolled into this little town and thought I’d find a diner. Well. June’s is way better than any diner — and the food was divine.
There isn’t anything really ‘fancy’ here. The fact that people were lined up at the door prior to the doors opening says that they don’t need ‘fancy’… Instead, they simply serve very good and very well priced food. With a smile!
I ordered a half order of fried chicken with a salad. The chicken has a crisp, yummy batter and the pieces of chicken are nicely sized and seasoned perfectly. Crisp. Flavorful. Perfect.
Salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was good.
Thanks Unilocal for the suggestion… I enjoyed my lunch tremendously.

We were on a road trip and looking for a good lunch spot, we tried June’s based on other Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed! The BLT sandwiches were delicious with crisp bacon, fresh veggies, and toasted bread. We split a coconut cream pie for dessert which was also yummy. This is definitely a small town diner type place, complete with rooster paintings on the wall and tons of support for the local high school football team. The service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. This is definitely a great place to go if you want a meal in authentic small-​town America. Highly recommended if you’re driving through Oklahoma!

Found June’s on Unilocal while on a business trip. VERY fast service, friendly waitstaff, but most of all the chicken is kick arse. The portions are very generous. This is the kind of place I’d hope to be in a small town. Looking forward to my next visit.

The boneless chicken and grilled chicken were awesome! The fried pickles were good also. Homemade food, friendly atmosphere. Good place to stop if you are driving by on I-​40. But don’t be in a hurry! We went during the Saturday night dinner rush and it took us an hour and a half for dinner for 2 adults and we ordered right after we sat down.

June’s has the absolute best boneless chicken ever! It’s all homemade. The half boneless feeds myself and 2 of my children for $ 5! What a great deal. The place is clean. Service is ok. Usually high school students waiting on us and most of them don’t know much about good customer service. It’s not bad service, just not exceptional. Everyone has to start somewhere tho! We give them the grace to learn and to be encouraged. Junes is a great place to eat. You won’t be disappointed!

Taking a road trip and passing by this small town. What a pleasant surprise! Nice and cozy environment, friendly waitress, clean kitchen and bathroom. Very good portion for the price! The famous boneless chicken is perfectly fried, just a bit too salty for me.
Overall, awesome place!
