My family and I chose Pucketts because of our past experiences in Franklin, TN and its close proximity to the river. After boating all day, we were famished! Our waitress, Martha, was very attentive and the food was delicious. Our favorites were the grilled meatloaf and the shrimp and grits. The Chattanooga location did not disappoint! Great job-AGAIN-Pucketts!

Went for lunch, BBQ Pork was good, Hamburger over cooked, forgot the cheese, cold FF. They did bring out more hot FF and took off the Hamburger. They did try to make it right.

I’m a single mom with two boys, seven and 15 months, my point is going out to dinner can be scary. We got there around five on a Thursday with not many folks at all there besides us. Great! Got a nacho appetizer with brisket, which was out-of-this-world brisket. I had two craft beer. Also the fried chicken dinner and the brownie desert. The waiter and manager on duty was really nice. The food was good and priced well especially at happy hour. The only reason that I did not give these guys five stars was the size of my two pieces of fried chicken, in my opinion, for $ 13 was small. Other than that it was a great experience and we will go back.

We went to Puckett’s for lunch after a few hours of the aquarium and it was okay, nothing really to rave about. The veggies were not distinctive although the pulled pork was excellent. Brisket tips and rice were meh. Reasonably priced, especially for the«tourist zone».

We accidentally found this place and had no intention of gping but the staff was so welcoming and told us to have a look around. We were very impressed and could smell how wonderful the food was. The food was soooo awesome! I recommend the piggy mac with pulled pork. Excellent service our waitress was very knowledgeable and great to talk with. We are definitely going back tomorrow for brunch!

Got buffet catering from here. Oh yum! Amazing baked beans(who says baked beans, of all things, are amazing?) and potato salad that is out of this world. I’m not a huge banana fan but could not stop eating their banana pudding. The meats were ok but a little dry, so they require BBQ sauce(but it was good sauce). Cole slaw is not dripping in dressing, which was nice.

We were greeted quickly and seated. Waitress was polite. Service was very slow. Country club sandwich is huge! Enough for two. Meat and three is $ 9.99. Meat choices change daily. Squash casserole is not a casserole. It is stewed squash. Smashed sweet potatoes are vet good. There was a bad odor near the restrooms. Very bad smell! Convenient downtown location near the aquarium.

We visited in a Saturday for Breakfast. They serve a buffet or you can order from the menu, we chose the buffet. The selections were pretty basic and not worth the $ 13 cost. The SAVINGGRACE to this was the interaction we had with the buffet cook and worker. He was very friendly, asking how things were and offering suggestions on what he recommends. They initially sat us all the way on the other end of the restaurant but we requested to be seated closer to the buffet since the place was nearly empty… why make us walk all that way back and forth? Anyways, perhaps the menu is better but I can’t recommend the buffet unless you can eat an abundance of the same 6 items.

Chicken fried chicken with corn cake, potatoes, gravy and green beans. Delicious. i had the TN Spring that was made with Honeysuckle vodka, ginger beer, another ingredient and basil sprig. Like a Southern style mojito! My friend had the steak which looked good, green beans whole with red pepper. Service was good, not too many people. I thought it was a shame to pay for parking. Tap TN brews were very good, I taste tested a wheat beer, which was very good.

Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t awesome either. The brisket that we got was very fatty. My kids shared a burger and they thought it was tasty. I got chicken fried chicken– one piece was so over cooked I couldn’t cut it, while the other piece was perfect. The mashed taters were room temp and a little watery. The veggies and fries were great. Our waitress was wonderful! Overall, I would try the restaurant again– never know, couldn’t of been an off day. We went in on a weekend around 330.

Puckett’s Grocery in Nashville is great. Puckett’s Grocery in Chattanooga sucked. I was served a steak ordered medium rare that was so raw the fat on it was still white. The green beans were rotten, and the mashed potatoes were so peppery I couldn’t eat them. The service was equally horrible. My glass was refilled twice by a waiter not assigned to our party that felt bad for our party. Not once by our actual waitress. Also it took me calling the manager over to get a togo box for our food. He was unapologetic for anything, cut me off as I was explaining what happened, and abruptly walked away.

I’ve heard about the one in Nashville and how everyone says it’s awesome, so I was really looking forward to trying this place out. We were seated right away and with having a party of 8 thats pretty good, and service was fine. But we all know that at the end of the day it’s about the food… And I have to say it left me wanting and disappointed. Although it wasn’t terrible it did not live up to the hype, not even close… and in a city booming with great places to eat right now this isn’t a good thing.

My family and I were in the area on a trip to see the aquarium and Puckett’s has such an amazing reputation from Nashville — we decided to give it a try. The wait to get in was reasonable — 10 – 15 minutes on a Sunday 1pm. The wait for service was horrid. Finally someone came over and introduced themselves and not our server but took our drink orders. They arrived but still no server. 15 minutes later an apologetic server arrived and took our order… and then we wait… he apologized to other tables due to the«fryer being backed up». Honestly — I could care less. After quite some time, our food arrived. My wife had the redneck burrito, my daughter had a grilled cheese and I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The food was quite tasty but with that many great choices within walking distance, I’d be hard pressed to go back or recommend it to anyone.

Great food and great service. Got the country fried platter with steak and the stack. Both were great! Fruit tea was AWESOME too!

The hype was pretty big coming here. We started with the fried pickles. I wasn’t super impressed. They were really oily. I ordered the Puckett’s brisket BBQ sandwich. It was good flavored but they had run out of cole slaw so that’s pretty disappointing. I could only put BBQ sauce on it. My wife for the Piggy Mac. It was delicious. That is all. We closed it out wth the blueberry cobbler which was pretty good. Over not as impressed as I expected to be.

Got the fried brownie sundae yesterday. Delicious and surprisingly light. Both bartenders were very friendly, Cassie and? boysname? I will say, as a local, it is very touristy and meat &3. But what do you expect being next to the aquarium. I’d compare it to Cracker Barrel with a liquor license.

Been looking forward to checking this place out since it was first announced, but wound up there on Grand Opening night and my wife and I were pretty wholly underwhelmed. The space felt surprisingly cramped despite not being super busy. Service was slow despite not being super busy. All of that could be forgiven, but THEFOOD. The food was just boring. She had the fried green tomato BLT. Super bland. I had the Mojo Burger, which sounds awesome, but was just so-so. Felt the same about the BBQ sauce. Just bland. Boring. Ever have the experience of going to, say, a Mexican or TexMex restaurant and expecting to experience all these big, bold flavors, but then everything is just totally one-note/tastes exactly the same? That’s kind of how this felt.

Glad to see this new addition in Chattanooga! This was my first Puckett’s experience and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. A friend recommended it after going a few days ago, so we decided to stop by for lunch. There was no wait, which was nice and the food came out extremely quickly. I had a pork BBQ sandwich with fries… straight and simple, but it was delicious! The meat was perfectly tender, and had great flavor from the cherry wood smoke. The fries were well seasoned and fresh. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we never ran out of water. The restaurant itself is really nice. Of course, being new, it’s in great shape, and the styling is a nice mix of modern and classic BBQ joint. Pretty enjoyable in my opinion. It’s great to have a good, easy lunch stop like this close to so many attractions. I’d definitely recommend it!

Finally open. Great fast, friendly service by our waiter Drew. They were not all that busy because they have not advertised but are only using«word of mouth» that they are open. Their grand opening will be September 1st. However, I recommend coming before then, to avoid the long wait. My friends of Market Street are describing this restaurant as a high end«Cracker Barrel». Well, I do such agree with them. I come to Market Street every Thursday leaving all my money through out the area at my regular spots. Today I was told that Pucketts was open with a special going on. menu items ordered: Fried Catfish, sweet potato fries and cole slaw along with good olé southern sweet tea. My catfish was cooked perfect with a flavorful taste I might add. It came with tarter sauce on the side. The cole slaw was so good, and the sweet potato fries were so good –I didn’t need anything to dip them in as I just ate them plain. Location: This restaurant is located in the old TGI Fridays restaurant that was once here. It’s right next to the Tennessee Aquarium. Parking: Customers can park in the big parking lot right outside which is a «pay lot». Or, my suggestion is to find a parking meter to park at which is cheaper. Now it is the simple truth: do like I do –and park at a meter a few blocks away after 5pm for free parking. Remodeling complete: I noticed that not only the restaurant has been remodeled but the bathrooms have been completely remodeled, redone and decorated with new sinks, walls, floors and etc. History: The first Puckett“s dates back to the 1950“s and was a little grocery store in Leiper“s Fork, Tennessee. Originally, Pucketts was known in Williamson County, Tennessee in such towns as Nashville, Columbia, and of course Franklin. Awards: Puckett“s was voted Top 10 Restaurants in Williamson County in April of 2013 according to «Nashville Lifestyle». This is a huge achievement considering how many restaurants are around Nashville if you ask me. Regrets: Yes most definitely. I wish I had got their green beans as I was told by my «accompany«that they are great tasting. So when I come here again I’m getting green beans as a substitute for one of my sides instead of cole slaw, sweet potato fries or –whatever the case may be. Sign up for the email newsletter. Be sure to ask your server how to sign up this so you will get a very special gift for your birthday. What is the significance of this Puckett“s as opposed to others. This is the first Puckett“s located away from Middle Tennessee and Nashville. In fact, It’s right here in Chattanooga on Market Street down town. So, Chattanooga, we are«special». Hours: their hours will be Sunday thru Thursday 7am till 10pm. On the week ends(Friday and Saturday) will be 7am till 11pm. I’m gona make u hungry Outstanding menu items: Well, yall can get fried green tomatoes, fried catfish of course see pic, fried chicken, grilled salmon, BBQ, meatloaf, chicken and dressing, cherry cobbler, French toast, country ham and eggs, home made biscuits, squash casserole, steamed vegetables, Caesar salad, turnip greens, potato salad, fried pickles, chicken tenders, filet mignon, black angus ribeye, chicken fried steak, shrimp, moonshine platter, piggy Mac, Pucketts bar b q platter, and etc. In 2015, Pucketts was named one of the best bar b q restaurants in the country. Yep, The 100 Best Bar B Q Restaurants in America. This book recommends the ribs which it ranks as the top 10 in America. In summary, park at a meter, ask for Drew, get cha some green beans, order sweet tea w lemon, ask for biscuits to be brought out, and enjoy some good olé country food. In short, yall come, Yall Come,(yall come) u here…
