Excellent customer service. Here’s the story: I had ordered microwave roller wheel(one that goes under the glass tray so the tray can rotate). Well, when I received the part through USPS, it was broken(into many pieces) and hence of no use. Given the total price of the unit, it didn’t make sense for me to send it back to Martin Microwave for refund(recommended action on their website for broken items). It would have cost me more to pay for all the ancillary stuff(need to insure the return package + S&H cost + 10% stocking fee). Anyways, long story short, I was disappointed on receiving the package so sent Martin Microwave an email with pictures of the damaged goods. This was on a Sunday. Not only did Tim from Customer Service/Parts respond to my email within 30 minutes but he also promised to send me a new part at no charge the next day. I did not expect either reaction(email response or the new part free of charge) so I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the gesture. The new part arrived on time and intact. I needed a microwave turntable motor for a Sharp built in 2002! On May 13th I emailed, and also called an left a voice message requesting a replacement part. The next morning I had an email response and a phone call follow-up to confirm exactly what I needed. The tech handled the situation in about two minutes. The part shipped within two hours with a follow-up tracking number. Shipped Thursday, May 14th and arrived Saturday via Pony Express(USPS). I was back in business baking my potatoes and warming my coffee. I will certainly use them again when and if the time comes. Thank You Mr. Tech. Sorry I didn’t get your name.
