If you or your child loves trucks then you might like it here. It is small and many of the displays are old and not professionally printed as muse quality. But there is a small gift shop and a memorial outside as well. It is a bit expensive for what it is bit if you like trucks then check it out if you are in Chattanooga.

Decent side trip in Chattanooga. The museum is $ 8 and it is fairly packed with towing memorabilia, equipment, and trucks. The museum used to be down town but I never visited it then. Now it is fairly close to the incline and would make a wonderful side trip. I have seen the museum on the History Channel back when they actually showed history.

I’ve driven past this museum off and on for about a decade, but I’ve never actually gone in. I remember the building from when it was the Golden Beauty Supply. A friend and I had some time to kill after brunch in St. Elmo, so we decided to go inside for once. We were glad we did! They did a nice job turning the building into a museum, with a memorial fountain in the front. It was neat to see the old trucks and all the little toys. The highlight was the tow truck at the end that you can sit in an operate. Yes, it’s for children, but I can pretend, right? Small but nice gift shop. I bought a cute plush tow truck for my niece. Worth a trip!

This place is cute! Not a huge place, but just big enough to get all the towing history you could need. My husband thought it was the best thing ever, They show a short movie that gives you a brief history of the place. After watching the movie you walk through the Museum. Most items in the museum are on loan to them and they take pride in that. Cute little place with some great history. Anyone who like antique vehicle’s and tows will enjoy this little gem,
