I went here to have a bunion checked out that had started giving me pain. The office staff was pleasant, and the doctor was nice, but I wasn’t very impressed. I felt like her solution for me was a generic answer to my condition, since she said I’d need to wear orthotics only when I’m active after telling her I’m not an active person several times. If my foot hurts when I’m not active, and I’m not going to be wearing an orthotic when I’m not active, how will it improve at all? Deciding that I wanted a second opinion, I called to have my records and x-rays faxed to another Podiatrist in town. They told me it would take ten days to send my records and that I’d have to pay for the transfer. That’s just ridiculous, and solidified my decision to not return to any of these locations. There are multiple doctors that work for this local chain, so maybe another location would be better. UPDATE: I did receive a call back from the office letting me know they had made copies of my records and I could pick them up the same day I’d called since there weren’t that many, and that they wouldn’t charge me. I still don’t know what they would have charged if my file would have been larger.
