Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I decided to see for myself, they do have a functioning scale in good working order and they paid me a fair price comparable to their competitor. They are easy to deal with. What more do you want, Just pull around back they have plenty of room to unload your scrap metal.

This place has worst prices around and will RIP you off. Today I took in over 225 pounds of copper wire. There scale said it was 225LBS and they wanted to give me $ 19 at the most, Doing this alot and knowing prices I took it else where where I was able to get $ 143 for the same wire. Also the other place I took it said I had 239LBS of wire. This place rips you off. STAYFARAWAY!!!

I took several backyard painted aluminum chairs, that had ripped fabric, to them to recycle. When I asked them if they recycled these the lady was really honest and said they don’t really specialize in this type of recycling and wouldn’t be able to give me the best price. She weighed them and offered me approximately $ 1 per chair. I politely turned her down and took them to a recycler down the road, where I did receive a little more for them. I really appreciate her honesty in letting me know.

They do not recycle paper and cardboard… REPEAT, no paper and cardboard! Its very very hard to find(even with GPS): I got stuck in some back alley area that was very sketchy as mentioned before, and almost got into several accidents trying to get around back there… be careful while driving! Yeah, i got a few bucks from my plastic bottles and a few cans– but Im not doing it for the money– I actually care about the earth(gasp!) and want nothing more than to have the umpteen pounds of junk mail, news papers, and magazines that have massed up in my tiny apartment, to be properly recycled away, so we can save a few trees! Apparently this place is in the ‘business’ and if you are looking to make bucks on plastic and cans, be my guest–

In the heart of an industrial back lot right by the Northridge mall lies a smelly recycling center run by a nice Russian family that gives you every penny for your recyclables that you deserve! Thats right, more money than other recycling centers. So you can forget about those stupid machines where you have to insert bottle after bottle and it takes pretty much a half hour for 5 measly bucks. Nah, double that 5 and that’s Albor. There are bees everywhere, but I’ve never gotten stung, they don’t have a sink or sanitizer, so bring your own, and the place seems SUPER sketchy and dirty, like most junkyards do, so don’t be a little princess. I’ve recycled all plastic water bottles/jugs and all sizes of glass and aluminum cans no problem. You can even bring big batteries and newspapers too, but I’m not sure about the profit on those… Usually I bring a trunk full of bottles and some glass and I get 10 – 15 bucks. However, my boyfriend brings the same amount in all glass and aluminum and gets the same amount of money… hmmm… I guess they like plastic here, because aluminum is supposed to be worth more. Anyways, if youre looking for a good paying recycling place, its here.
