I had my facial on my lunch break. I loved it! Tennille is awesome! Her touch is amazing. Ahe’d give u a masssage whe waiting for the solution to sink into your skin. Best massage ever .her personslity is great too. Good customer service

I love Colours Carmine has been doing my hair for about 4 years. When I first started going to her my hair was very damaged since I have been going to her she’s taken my hair to the best it’s ever been. It’s a beautiful color and very healthy she is awesome. I’ve posted pictures

We have been going to Colours for many years. We moved to Long Beach in 2014 and still drive out to Chatsworth every four weeks to have our hair done by Carmine.
That is true dedication to an amazing Hair Artist!
We would also like to express how amazing Mimi is. Mimi runs the front desk at Colours. She is so kind, always smiling, friendly and a true pleasure to send a Saturday afternoon with while getting your hair done.
Carmine and Mimi, you couldn’t ask for two more spectacular women!

I have been going to Colours for more than 10 years. This place is amazing and everyone is very nice and the salon is very clean. I always leave happy. It’s kind of like my place to go where I can relax. Carmine is my hair stylist and Mary is my manicurist. Both are excellent at what they do. But again, everybody is very nice.

I love the cut I get here, but they need to fix the air! It is WAY TOO hot in there! Service is good. But even the stylists are uncomfortable in the heat. I watched a lady getting her hair done for her wedding. They had 2 fans on her to try to keep her from sweating out her hair. Come on now.

Okay so this is a little late. I have had a fear of salons after a terrible experience. I’ve been cutting and styling my own hair for 5 years now. I decided to take a chance and try this place out after hearing about it from a friend. I got my hair cut by Arev, and I have to say I’m completely in love with my hair. thank youuuuu!!!

Ok. I cheated on you Shushan.
I went to another stylist closer to home because I was lazy and didn’t feel like making the drive.
Ok ok. I cheated on you twice with two DIFFERENT stylists.
I really don’t know why I do this to myself. I’ll get my hair cut by some stranger, thinking it will be awesome and it will be for a few weeks after BUT then it grows out and it’s just not cute. When I have my hair done with you, I can go 3 – 4 months and people will still compliment me on my hair thinking that I just had my hair done.
So here I am sitting in your chair, grown out A-​bob and all, with my thick wavy hair, fully confident that you will ONCE again work your magic and all will be well again in Cathy’s hair land.

Ever woke up one morning and said to yourself, «Oh my GOD! My hair looks like CRAP! Have I actually been walking around in PUBLIC like this?! I have to get this fixed NOW!» Well, that’s what I did on Monday.
Let me paint a picture: At least 2 months overdue for a cut and same goes for color (I started to gray at 18, thanks for that patricular strand of DNA Dad), and, on top of all of that, previous bad experiences with home color & other salons left me with a weird two-​toned horizontal stripe thing. It was bad.
On a whim, I walked in on my lunch hour and got hooked up with Karla. She did an amazing job. I’ve already gotten a few compliements on the color. My hair feels great, looks great AND it was my first time to visit. The color is even & natural looking, the products did not make my eyes water, the cut is cute too.
Unfortunately, I’ve been to several salons in the valley over the past 3 or 4 years. (I must have high standards.) It’s frustrating when I can do a better job with a box on my own than the stylists I’ve seen over the years… c’mon.
I thought about the 5 star rating. I can’t think of any reason why 5 wouldn’t be appropriate: I was welcomed as a walk-​in, everyone was very friendly (and seemed to be genuinely happy), the place was clean, and most importantly my hair truly does look great. I’m especially happy with the color.
So, thank you Karla. I’ll be visiting again soon. :-)

I never would have even known about this place if it weren’t for my ex-​boyfriends mom. I used to dress very tom boy like, due to lack of money, and she decided to give me a make over. Part of the make over was my horrid hair. I used to have really nice hair but I decided one day that I wanted to be blonde. So my friend and I dyed my hair with peroxide… not a good idea. After about 6 months of loving being blonde I started to hate my very dark roots so i dyed my hair with box color back to brunette. Well It started to fade and then I had 2 different shades of color in my hair. Not to mention the terrible breakage, tangling, and straw like feeling. I used to be able to run my fingers through my hair all day but after i dyed it it was so damaged i couldn’t even run them through once. I told Carmine that I wanted to grow my hair out because I hated it short so she just gave me a trim and told me to come back every 3 months to trim the split ends until all of my damaged hair was gone. She also dyed it all the same color and used a glaze which made it silky smooth and shinier than it had ever been.
Well now it’s 9 months since then and we’ve been cutting my hair the same length but almost all of the damaged hair is gone. I have a few more cuts till I can give my hair a break and just grow it but i’ve never had a stylist who was so patient with me and the situation i am in. Granted at first she was pretty pricey but the more you go there the more she gives you deals.
I love this place and I love Carmine! I’m interested to see what extensions here are like and I’ll be sure to review again if I get them

Customer service is great. Shushan is amazing!!! I always leave with a huge smile on my face. She does such a great job with cutting and styling my hair.

First, the good. I love Carmine. She is a fabulous stylist and hair cutter. She has an eye for hair cuts and styles, and if you are into short hair styles, razor cuts, etc. go to her. The reason I no longer go to her is that she would not color my hair the color I really wanted it. She felt she knew what was better for me than I. Sorry, if I am paying for a service, I need to receive the service I actually want to pay for. It was with sadness that I left. Best of luck to her.

waaaaayyyyyy over priced! I have a super short pixie cut and some how I was charged $ 112 for a cut and color! Outrageous, considering I was a first time client. My stylist was nice and did try to give good service, but her assistant should be fired! Worst shampoo of my life! I am also a cosmetologist so I know what to expect from a good salon, and it definately was not found here. I am sure other people have had better experiences than me. However, I was very disappointed and will not be returning anytime soon.

Positively LOVE the work that Arev does. I think she’s one of the best gals for highlights — ever!

I used to go to Carmine when I lived in the valley. She is one of the best hair dressers I have ever been to. Her specialty is up-​dos. Her cuts are to die for as well. She is pretty opinionated so if you are looking for someone to do precisely what you ask for without any creativity, this isn’t the place for you.
