Priced well, meat is fresh and juicy. Was just placing my order over the phone and found out if you buy two ½ chicken plates you get another one free. That was dope. I’m satisfied.

Apparently if you order the chicken it’s really tasty and flavorful, but if you order the chicken sandwich it’s really dry and flavorless. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken. I deeply regretted my decision. The chicken was so dry I almost could not swallow it.

Exactly what folks have said, Cicek’s is like an imitation Zankou but at a better price and with personal friendly service. We ordered the Shwarma wrap and ¼ Chicken Plate $ 6.99 for lunch special. For the first item, be forewarned that is is gyro meat and not chicken as is Zankou’s. The gyro is a bit more dry but on the flip side seems more healthy since it’s not dripping w grease as is Zankou’s. It’s wrapped in pita with generous meat portions, lettuce, tomatoes, and purple onions. It could’ve been better with some additional sauce but ah is well. The chicken plate was the better steal of a deal with getting to choose between dark meat and white meat at no extra charge. Hooray! Also, it comes with one pita bread, and 2-sides. I selected mahouteh(baba ghanouj), please excuse my spelling but it’s the hummus like dip which tastes of eggplant that has a charred smoky flavor, my favorite greek side in addition to french fries. Their french fries were oh so crispy but probably not oh so healthy. I like that they have booths to sit in which makes it seem almost restaurant style instead of fast food, but the booths are hard chairs and no cushion.

Its under new managment now, sadly, there are plenty better places that make better sandwiches… Pita Pocket on Nordhoff and reseda is one, Even Kebob House across the street is better food. Not one thing memorable that I can say they did a good job at. Last time I go here. Also, most awkward seating… its like eating on an airplane in rows.

Great tasty chicken meals for the price! I usually go to Zankou nearby but ever since I found this place, don’t think I’ll be going back there any time soon. Their meals are hearty, I can usually finish the half chicken for lunch and the rest for dinner. The garlic and BBQ sauce are great pairings for the chicken or pita bread. Sides are fine for what they are, nothing crazy but the Chicken is really flavorful. I reheat leftovers in the oven for a few minutes and still has the flavor. Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area for some chicken, wish they’d open another spot closer to me though!

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed Cicek’s! I mean, it’s only one of the few places that have made it into our office lunch rotation. I always get the exact same thing and that is the half chicken lunch special with rice and salad and two pita breads. Total steal at around $ 7. My coworker swears by the chicken skewers, but I have yet to branch out. It’s tough to change when the chicken is so juicy and delicious. And don’t forget about the yummy garlic sauce! Zankou has nothing on Cicek’s. Last time I went to the Zankou by my house, I was really surprised by how dry it was. You never have that problem here. Great spot for lunch or to go. In addition to the lunch special, I think their dinner special is buy two get one free on the half chicken meal.

We ordered take out from here and thought the food was reasonably priced and also very good. Their falafel was very fresh and flavorful – it can be hard to find places that do falafel well. I got the falafel sandwich which was delicious with the hot sauce that they have. It was very affordable at $ 5.99. My mom got the falafel plate which came with a salad, hummus, pita and the yummy falafel. My husband got the shwarma which he loved. He got two sides – thick cut fries and some hummus. My inlaws got some of the meat kabobs and really enjoyed their food too. Food was ready pretty quick and we enjoyed ourselves. They don’t deliver. Have an easy parking lot and can take orders via phone. Very easy, affordable and tasty experience!

Can’t get no better. «$» prices, «$$$$» flavor, variety, cleanliness & professionalism. Very clean and very tasty. Impress a hot date by bringing them here. Their Shawarma was probably the best I’ve ever had.

This place is definitely better than Zankou. Everything is salty at Zankou, from their preserved radish to chicken. I was in the area to pick up my kids from my in-laws and I was a little early so I decided to grab a bite. Cicek has a lot of great reviews so I decided to stop by. I got the ½ chicken(all dark meat) with a side of rice and hummus($ 10). The chicken was very tender and flavorful. The rice was good and the hummus was very good. It had the perfect texture and seasoning. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go here.

There are a bunch of pretentious top chef wanna-bes reviewing this classic hole in the wall chicken shack. This place is amazing. First off the service is fast for takeout. Is flavorful and a great deal at the price. Th falafel is unique and some of the best I’ve had. If you only like the horse turds they serve at Daphne’s then no, you might not like them. This is a great family run spot.

I normally order the lunch ½ chicken special with rice and mutabal or fries or family special and love this place On the last few of my orders the chicken has been on the dry side, some my sauces they left out or forgot and even ones they charged me extra for, other than that quick service at the cashier.

Always been frequenting this place, even back when they were still called Sevan’s. The inside is nice and tidy. Nothing fancy, but always well maintained. I’m guessing it’s because most of their customers order their food to-go. But I find that it’s always nicer to eat your food fresh out of the rotisserie grill, as supposed to letting it sit on your car on your drive back home. But I digress. The food is still good quality. It’s gone down a bit from the past years, but you still get a nice, moist, and juicy piece of chicken that makes you crave for one more bite until you realize you’ve already devoured the whole hen. I like their rice much better than Zankou’s plain offering. Although like I said, it was much better back then. Their shawarma plate is nicely jam-packed with a large portion of meat. Certainly can’t complain about that. Much better than other«fancier» restaurants that skimp on the good stuff and fill out their plates with fluff. Their hummus is nothing special though. Rather plain and no depth of flavor. And their pita wraps are one of those pre packaged ones you can buy at the supermarket. I suppose that’s just about what you’d expect from a(albeit on the higher end) fast food restaurant. Until I can find a better alternative, Cicek is still my go-to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern rotisserie chicken place in the SFV.

Interior is very plain and drab, the seats Are uncomfortable. Rotisserie chicken looks good but the chicken in the sandwich tasted bland like it was boiled. Super busy 15 to 20 min wait for shawarma.

Cicek’s is *not* 5 star food, unlike what some reviewers would have you believe.(Maybe they never eat outside of Chatsworth?) The chicken is hot and moist on the inside, but that’s about the end of it. Any seasoning they apply is bland. The sides are forgettable. Inside the restaurant, the seating looks like an old McDonald’s. The staff is fine, although a little indifferent. The pricing is as expected for fast food — for example, $ 10 for a chicken with some pita and marinated vegetable. 3.5 stars rounded to 3, to balance some nutty ratings from other people.

One of the most legit chicken rotisseries I’ve seen in a while. Their specialty is rotisserie chicken. There are wicked deals on chicken dinners after 4pm daily. The service friendly, and extremely accommodating towards every guest. Sure, they could probably get away with one server, but it would be a lot faster if they had two people at the front helping since it can get pretty busy. If you have a last minute get together with your friends or family and need to get a lot of food this is your place. The deals are unbeatable and the food is very fresh and excellent for sharing. Parking is abundant in a private lot. Located across the street from Trader Joe’s.

Good chicken! Fast service & my kids really enjoyed the food & side orders. The garlic sauce is unique & pretty good. Also, parking was very easy & available right in front, which was nice. A+
