Secretary Of State

The ladies here are not polite.
Moved here over the weekend, and this location was recommended as the least busy. Was there more than an hour before closing.
After being shuffled around, I’d spoken with 4 different ladies and said ‘thank you’ at least 7 times. Not a single one replied with ‘you’re welcome’ or similar, just glared at me and reminded each other of the time.
By 5 minutes to closing, I realized they had skipped my number many times over, so I asked if I’ve not turned in something necessary or skipped a step, as I’ve not been called yet, though realize they could simply be calling out of order based on service type.
Nope, they say they’ve skipped me but can help me right away BECAUSE IT IS NOW 5:00! Like this is my fault. I apologize, say thank you AGAIN, and receive more snotty looks and no responses.
Mind you, I’ve been and am a kind, patient, friendly person. Wasn’t been anything but sweet to these gals, because that’s my way and I also know they get shade from some people simply by working at this place.
They did process me as quickly as possible, so that was nice. But holy moly, so rude. The woman who took my photo was the worst — barked in a clipped nasty manner like I had offended her just by being in the room.
If this is how it’s done, I can see why customers preemptively hate the DMV/​SOS workers and detest using these services. Otherwise, most everyone I’ve met here in Michigan has been friendly, kind, and professional.

Right off the bat the lady who greets you,
Has a total attitude problem!
«Can I help you??» And as she’s saying it her face is twisted all angry.
She isn’t wearing a name tag otherwise i would blast her on here.
I know Secretary of State is known for their angry women workers but damn!
As soon as you walk in the door you feel like you are bothering them.

At the one on 19 and van dyke, what happened to the express lane for tabs only. This sucks.
Can’t use kiosk due to have to show proof of insurance. They can see if you have it. Ridiculous
