I Love This Wine Shop
This is one of the best wine shops in Cville, no doubt! The variety is fantastic and the staff knows their stuff! I went in for a wine bottle for my mother on mothers day. I was immediately greeted and showed to the selection. All my questions were answered completely and then some. Went in for 1 bottle, ended up walking out with 3.
Also, these are the best prices of any wine shop in Cville.

I love this wine shop! 99% of the wines are under $ 20 and the free tastings are a fun way to try new wines before committing to buying a whole bottle that you may not like. They also have a good selection of VA wines/​beer if you are looking for something local. Joyce (the owner) and the other employees I’ve interacted with are all very friendly and welcoming.

Exceptional value and service are your norm at Wine Made Simple! Joyce, the owner, is very savvy about the wines she carries and offers tastings that my friends and I enjoy. All of the 3/​$ 20.00 wines I have tried exceed in taste and value the mass produced wines from the various grocers in the area. Joyce will tailor her recommendations to your tastes and needs. Wine Made Simple offers an excellent variety. Try it; you will like it!

This is the best wine shop in Charlottesville hands down. Joyce is extremely helpful and offers a diverse selection of wine at reasonable prices. If you want to bring a bottle of wine to a dinner party that is inexpensive but no one notices the label, then this is the place to go. The last two wines I had from Wine Made Simple were a refreshing Riesling from Alsace and a Cabernet from Greece. If you tell Joyce your preferred style then she will be sure to expand your palate! Also, her prices are much better than the rest of the independent wine shops around town.
