I was in a last minute bind seeking a salon that new how to manage black hair, and I was not disappointed!
In less than half hour, Brenda blow dried, flat ironed, and wrapped my recently relaxed hair with minimal notice. She was friendly, funny, and the total cost was $ 25 — all of which score well in my book! She also pointed out the positive elements of my hair, which was a welcome change from past salon’s that have tried to sell me several products.
I deducted a half-​star for scalp burn with the flat iron and a half-​star because the salon’s new address is 263 McIntire Road (if you passed the Charlottesville 12 memorial, as I did, you’ve gone too far!).
Overall, really happy with this shop! If I find myself passing through Charlottesville again, this will be my go-​to salon.
