The Corner location has closed, but the Downtown Mall location(near the Pavilion) is still open for now.

Was it an off day when I went. I don’t know why so many people rave about this place. I thought my curry was bland — tasted like water with some sprinkled in spices.

If you are craving curry or something that is a little more substantial than just a sandwich, Just Curry is your spot! It’s quick, the menu is short and to the point, fairly cheap($ 6 for a small) and it’s delicious. They have a few different kinds of curry, including chicken, butter chicken, lamb, beef, and veggie which all come with a few plantain bananas(yummyy!!) The veggie curry is my favorite! They also have chicken, beef, of veggie patties, which are tasty too! Food comes in to-go style plastic containers which make is easy to carry around and save. There is also a new location at the end of the downtown mall in the train station right by the pavilion!

I really liked my meal: Lamb curry with cucumber salad. The lamb was tender(cooked nice & long), the white long-grain rice was well-cared for and also very tender and the sauce was spicy! No weenie curry here! The cucumber salad was fresh and stimulating with red onions that did not result in ostrization. The surroundings were nice– it’s always surreal to eat on the dancefloor of a music venue. BUT, i object to the plastic containers. Whether eating in or taking to go, you get your meal in very sturdy plastic containers. I know it may be money saving in the short run to avoid glass dishware to all but in the long run it sucks! Even if recycling were offered(which it wasn’t), it really is best to reuse. Am i right?
