I sent my kid here because of a driver named Mike, who impressed me with his philosophy of teaching confidence as his number one job. When I signed my daughter up for the course, I expected the same professionalism. Instead the owner talked about other students in her class, suggesting by name that they must have been retarded. Sheliea is a demanding bully who excuses her behavior by pleading it is her duty to keep kids off the streets. She is agressive and demeaning towards some, whiile showing favoritism towards others. It was the worst possible experience to give an inexperienced driver by yelling at them. Their license to teach should be revoked.

If you want to ensure that your teen is ready to take on the responsibility for protecting their own safety, their passengers’ safety and the safety of other vehicle drivers and pedestrians, then Green Light is the place to go. They understand teenagers and take very seriously the duty of preparing students to drive effectively before passing them. We appreciated their honest feedback, professionalism, and helpful guidance throughout the process.

I have found the staff to be rude and difficult. I was told impatiently that my son can’t drive when I questioned why another driving school said he was prepared and should pass yet their staff disagreed. The owner was rude and impatient with me and my son. Would not recommend. Too bad there are so few choices. Albemarle Driving School is much more student driver focused and positively supportive of young drivers. Call Tom at Albemarle Driving School first.

Green Light taught my son how to drive the right way. They ar every careful and do not issue licenses until the new driver is ready. Classes were great, according to me son and Sheila teaches driving lessons and tips the kids can’t get anywhere else.
Highly recommended.

Green Light Driving School is awesome! The driving instructor is very kind, helpful and supportive. He helped me to adjust to the US driving system and taught me practical tips and tricks to drive and pass the DMV road test. Thank you Green Light Driving School!
