Had a broken windshield, and glass doctor could get me in next day. They were recommended to me(apparently ownership has since changed). I showed up for my Saturday morning appointment, and the receptionist(who was nothing but nice the entire process,) had to go downstairs and convince the guy who was fixing my windshield to keep my appointment(I was actually early). I’m sure they aren’t aware, but you can certainly hear the conversation from the waiting room, and the guy clearly saying he didn’t want to stay past noon on a Saturday because he was running late on the first appointment. The receptionist kindly offered to stay late for the glue to set, if he would just put in the window. They replaced my windshield. I picked it up and while driving home noticed the part of my dashboard that connected to the window had 8(yes, 8) clearly visible dings/gauges in it from installation. I called to notify them of the issue, and again the receptionist was very friendly. I emailed pictures over immediately of damage, and was told I’d hear back quickly once the owner was notified. Two days later, I got a call saying they had contacted a certain auto body shop, and would be paying for the replacement. I wasn’t happy with the guy’s attitude from the first time, but I figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. They were being nice enough to fix it, so I left it at that. I then had to schedule a time, and was car-less for an entire day(huge inconvenience,) and Glass Doctor had to give me an entire new windshield and fix my dashboard piece. I get the car back, and it looked fine. The next day I noticed my rear view mirror will not stay up, thus, I could not see out of it. I was going on vacation in two days, and insisted they find a time to fix it immediately. I sat in their waiting room for an hour as they fixed(I’ve lost count at the number of inconveniences). They tried to pass the buck by blaming the manufacturer, and that it happened frequent. Clearly trying to cover their own butts, but why would you continue buying from a sub par provider? I leave for vacation, and once my car gets to about 40MPH there is a clearly audible whistling because the seal on the SECOND windshield was not done correctly. It’s the same sound as if a side window was rolled down two inches. Try driving with that going 70MPH on a highway for 7 hours. At this point I wont even call them about it, knowing their craftsmanship is so horrible. I now have to go pay another professional window repair company to reseal my window asap so water/eventually snow will not leak into my barely 1 year old car. SUMMARY: Craftsmanship is HORRIBLE here. Attitude are HORRIBLE here. Quality of product is HORRIBLE here. GUARANTEE of product is CRAP. No accountability there. Not to mention they bragged that their product was far superior with a guarantee and that’s why it was worth spending $ 100 more to go there. Save yourself the time and the hassle, call anyone else.
