Excellent pie, nice folks, and prompt delivery. Signature pizzas offer a creative and delicious combination of fresh ingredients. Did I say excellent pie?

Maybe it’s because we are tired but the guys from Belmont just brought us a pizza, salad, ANDBEERS to our hotel and it was delicious! Crust was crispy, sauce just the right amount of garlic. Hubby’s only complaint was I ordered a small. Thanks to the lady who checked us in tonight for suggesting!

The altavista was great. It was definitely oily but that’s typical with a pesto pizza. I was not a fan of the rougemont at all. It was very saucy with very little cheese. It was a similar concept to a margerita pizza with circles of fresh mozeralla. The cheese on the pizza was very thin and tasteless, and there was also hardly any on the pizza either. Typically when theres slices mozzarella on a pizza its a bit thicker and has flavor. Im not sure why this is a specialty pizza if they aren’t going to emphasize the fresh mozeralla. It resembled a mostly a cheeseless pizza with extra sauce, which was disappointing. We had no issues with the service though when ordering for pickup.

We had an okay experience at Belmont Pizza & Pub recently. The pizza wasn’t great, but my husband really enjoyed the buffalo wings. He did say their mild sauce was about the equivalent of another place’s hot sauce, though. I made the mistake of ordering white wine at a dive bar, and it was incredibly watery. Our service was okay. The environment was nothing to write home about.

I had the turkey club, which is always good with bacon and avocado. We sat outside enjoying a draft Lagunitas Sumpin’ Sumpin’.

I have only tried them once, a take-out order. The pizza was really good, great crust, thin, flavorful and not too greasy. I had the Rialto(Olive oil & Garlic base, sausage, spinach, apples, drizzled with balsamic), and an appetizer of spinach-artichoke dip w/shaved Parmesan. Usually when I get that kind dip it’s pretty processed, but I like that they actually had big pieces of artichoke hearts. I will definitely be going back, this is my new favorite pizza place in Charlottesville!

Never again! I was staying at a hotel and called for delivery. I ordered a salad, kid’s pizza & ice cream. After 1 hour the food arrived COLD! There was no ketchup for the fries, no utensils to eat the salad, no spoon to eat the ice cream & no napkins. The hotel kitchen was closed so I called the resto for them to bring utensils. After waiting another hour, the ice cream had melted & I got so hungry I dug through my salad with my fingers to eat it as best I could. The pizza crust was burned to boot!

This place is an absolute joke. The kitchen staff is unable to comprehend simple dishes like cheesesteaks. EVERYTHING comes out charred and dry — sandwiches, cold fries, burnt crust. The bar service is not far behind, no attention or personality. If you’re looking for a dirty, grungy place to have below mediocre service and food that tastes like charcoal, you might be ok. Otherwise there are so many better options all around, do yourself a favor and AVOIDTHISPLACE!

The food and service was ok. There’s nobody in here on this Monday night and my dirty plates are still on the table 20 minutes after finishing my meal. I ordered the Belmont small pizza, which was ok. It’s not screaming of flavor like Crozet Pizza. It was also more on the warm side, than hot out of the oven. My wife had the large house salad which she says was good. We also had some onion rings which were over done. This wouldn’t be my first choice in Charlottesville for pizza.

Absolutely terrible. Where do I even begin. First we arrive and were told we would get the next table but since the staff was running around and had no idea what was going on or communicating we were passed up and a couple that came in 10 minutes after us was seated first. Then we waited for over an hour for our pizza. We didn’t even stay and got it to go. Only good thing I can say is that the staff was nice. I will not be back.

The. worst. service. I cannot even imagine who is running this place. Don’t bother calling in a pizza b/c they won’t start it until you get there anyway and say«8 minutes» — oh ya that 8 will be more like 30 minutes the way these guys work. Then in the panic this creates you’ll likely get a pizza that is not done, yup happened to me twice. While sitting in there definitely heard them rush out a pizza that was done, fully aware it wasn’t done. Place could be great but don’t be fooled and save yourself the aggravation!

We live in an area that has very limited delivery options, so it’s kind of a pain to have to drive to pick up pizza. After searching Unilocal for a good pizza place nearby, I stumbled upon Belmont Pizza & Pub. It was good enough for us to have ordered from twice, but is definitely not my favorite pizza. It’s decent pizza, and it’s close, so we’ll probably order again from there, but there are definitely better options in Cville for pizza.

We ordered a large bacon and cheese pizza along with the buffalo wings and it was delicious! Will definitely come back again when were in the area.

It’s 9:50 and they are no longer delivering. Unilocal says they are open until midnight but the person answering the phone says they have«stopped delivery service». So, yet again, I’m at their mercy of what hour they decide to stop delivering. Some times it’s 10:30 at night, sometimes it’s 9:50 at night. I am unsure of when I need to call to meet the delivery window. I’ve had later deliveries from them(after 10:30pm definitely). Tonight is a Friday night. I would expect tonight to be one of those nights where one could expect later deliveries. They do have the best pizza in town, though. Just hard to get my hands on it.

My husband and I have heard amazing things about the pizza here and decided to give it a try! When we first got there, the atmosphere was really strange. The restaurant was completely empty and we got worried for a minute that maybe we should go elsewhere. But then we looked over the menu and decided to order. The pizza was so delicious! I was really glad we stopped in! Besides the place needing a few updates, it was a great spot for lunch. I will try it again for dinner sometime.

Meh. Decent food. Sloooow service — and chaotic. Rude staff who had to come ask us twice«now what did you order again?» You can do much better only a few blocks away. Could prob be good if they could just get things together and efficient — but get ready for really inefficient and poor service.

I’m über picky about pizza BUT the subs here are delicious and the $ 4.5 small spinach salad is huge and delicious. Great all around really!

I hate to leave a negative review, but I’m pretty much done with Belmont. The last pizza I got there was terrible. So extremely greasy, and made my wife and I sick. The worst part was that I called it in as a pickup. Got there on time, wasn’t ready. Sat and waited. And waited. The server working gave me an attitude, as well. Not a great experience.

I think Belmont Pizza and I have officially broken up. Belmont has been my go-to pizza place since I moved to Charlottesville in 2011. It started off with consistent, amazing pizza and then there was awhile where the pizza and delivery was inconsistent but it seemed to get better again in the spring. Unfortunately, it seems like Belmont has gone downhill again. The last three times I have ordered from Belmont the pizza has been so burnt that there were black spots all over the top of it, and the cheese on top of the cheese fries was so burnt they were inedible. Also they forgot the ranch the last three times. It makes me sad to write this review because I have always really enjoyed Belmont’s pizza but enough is enough. I think it is unfair to charge $ 18.00 for a pizza that is going to get burnt to hell. Clearly there is not enough common sense in the kitchen to look at the pizza and decide that another one has to be made because the pizza is inedible. Nope, Belmont is 3⁄3 in sending me gross, burnt pizzas at $ 18 bucks a pop and forgetting ranch even when the comment box of the order says«PLEASEREMEMBERRANCH, FORGOTLASTTIME.» For the price, you are much better off getting a to-go pizza from Frye Spring or if you’re craving delivery at this point I would even put Papa Johns ahead of Belmont, at least it is consistent and not $ 18.00 a pizza.
