Banana Republic

Architectural is the word I think, when I think of the Men’s Clothing Design for the «NEW» Banana Republic Image (1990’s — Today) Re-​Branded from Casual Safari-​ish Style to what they are now, without being Re-​Named! I guess it has worked! I’m not completely sure why my Thought Description is «Architectural» Do I see Norman Foster wearing something like this? I imagine so! Is it the «Lines», the Simplicity or that it is Modern based on a Bit of Classic (recent Classic)?
When I chose Clothes or a Bag from BR, it is usually for the Dressed UP, Me! Usually I’m wearing Jeans and a T-​shirt (T with Original Artwork on it, of course) Most of my Favorite Jackets were Tailor-​made for someone else exaktly my size, that were donated to a THRIFT Store, where I later bought them! BR is NOT a Thrift Store!
Recently shopping at this location (my first time in this store) I found this ZipUp «Sweater» Jacket. I said to my eBay Bride «it looks like Chainmaille» She said «it does and you should get it, it looks GREAT on you»! 50% OFF (Pre-​Season SALE… believe me it was 90 Degrees in September) is still more than I pay for most clothes (that I buy for myself) considering I have found some of my favorite Clothes in Thrift Stores, yet I know how to get an additional 15% OFF of the SALE price by getting a BR Credit Card! I got it! The Jacket (and the Card)! I’ll be Keeping the Jacket!
Additionally my Wife said «You will get your Moneys worth because you will wear it until it is BACK in style» Very True! Another way to look at it… It was less than Dinner!
Well Made in China! I have found that all of my BR Clothes and Accessories have Lasted!
Try it on! The Neck fit much better in size Small (Small vs Medium) by «Chance» or mis-​Design? Or by Predetermined Predestined Design! This Jacket has a Collar that Zips Up and Snaps… The Small FIT Perfektly! I tried on the Medium, it was a little baggy in the lower-​back /​waist AND was IMPOSSIBLE to Zip or Snap around the NECK (my neck is almost 18″) ! The Small had a Much Bigger Neck than the Medium! The Small fit BEST Everywhere! Try it on, I said! Sizes may not run True! What ever that means, Or did someone Design this One for that Petite Man with an 18″ Neck who would KNOW?
Unlike me reviewing EVERY Urban Outfitters I step in, I’ll only review this ONE BR!
